  2. hi there and good luck for your grow process. What type of HPS you use?

  3. I see..... btw, if that is your ad on ebay, i may be interested. What's your final price? do you know if i can use my Philips MASTER SON-T PIA Plus with E40 socket on it ? please reply!

  4. sorry asd3reff thats not my add on ebayt i just pulled it off ebay for an example ?
as to your Philips light in your E40 fitting i`m just not sure i would say googles your best friend :)

anyway back my journal ask these sort of questions in General Growing forum you`ll get a better reply :) i`m just a new grower too sorry i couldnt of been more help.

ok so ive made a small nursery for my first grow ive repotted them in smaller pots as i have my cuttings in my growtent and the 1st grow (my stressed out babies) cant handle the HPS light its killing them even more so i know its not good practice but i have no other space for big pots unless there ready to go under my HPS was either that or bin them :( which i just coudlnt do so ive repotted them made a small nursery for them pics below

  5. well its been 5 days since i got these cuttings when i got them they were nice and healthy maybe a bit of light dicoloration but nothing to worry about.

    - PH of water 6.5
    - Runnoff PH 6.8
    - Nute Free Soil
    - Have not been feeding them
    - 400watt HPS dual spectrum
    - fan blowing air about the grow tent
    - 1.2 x 1.2 x 2m grow tent
    - 18/6 light cycle before 12/12

heres some pics what am i doing wrong i watered them 5 days ago when i transplanted into these pots whichg i will transplant again into bigger pots near flowering time as these were cuttings. the soil is stil a bit damp so have not watered again i`ll wait till its 2 knuckles deep dry.

should i start feeding them didn`t want to while they are begining to look like this my m8 will kill me if i mess up his cuttings he gave me so kindly and i thought what can go wrong with cuttings i learned my lesson with overwatering so have not been doing that .

P.S i just have that soil tester in there for the fact that i have it lol

  6. well ive just went out and bought some volvic water its gotta be something in my water thats causing the plants to go this way its the only logical solution to this.

well the volvic water is 6.8 ph standard so its perfect i`ll just leave it sitting out for 24hrs then use that to water my babies see what kinda difference this does if any i hope :)

  7. well its been a couple of weeks now and my babies are beggining to get moire and more yellow with stunted growth i think just like my first attempt.
as said before it`s not the soil or the light or me feeding them cause i have not.
who knows what the problem is its got to be something in my tap water ? even tho ive ph adjusted it and left out lying for afew days

    heres some pics

  8. anyone any ideas how to solve my problem ?

they just are not picking up atall !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. How often, and how much water do you give them?

They look dry and crispy to me. My plant looked sort of like that after they went 7 days with no water.

  10. hey magillion , I Just read through most of the threads , including the one in sick plants forumn. Can you give me a Brand name of the soil that you are useing , I know it does'nt have fertz but some soils simply wont work hands down. I really think your water is fine , I would toss that out. It kinda looks like a lockout of something , the bleaching and the brown blotchy burns, those look like signs of several deficiencies all due to something.

  11. hi there IslandMon

i water them every other day with Ph`d water to 6.5.
i have just flushed the worst one this morning thinking it might be a Ph lock out and maybe i was right when i flushed her the first run-out reading was 5.3 after flushing her she was reading 6.5 which is what the water i flushed her was was Ph`d too.

next question should i flush the rest of them ?

    hi there Hypeshot

well i live in the Uk and am using B&Q Specialist Compost for growing container plants.

i dont think it is the soil as a m8 of mine uses the exact same soil as this and his are nice and healthy i still think it is a Ph lockout due to the tap water not being Ph`d before ?

any thoughts and help much appreciated its begining to get a bit annoying now as you can imagine m8s all around me are growing great healthy plants and i go and get cuttings of a seasoned grower and they are dying :( do you think me flushing them is going to help ? i hope so :)

also here is a video of my setup so you can get an idea of what i`m doing and working with :)

  12. Hey all

well i have just cleaned out my grow room and watered some of the babies that i did not flush the other day watered them with 1/2 strength nutes a mix of Erath Juice Grow & Earth Juice Catalyst which are all orgnanic hoping this will pick them up a bit the nutes were added and the water then Ph`d to 6.5 ?

heres some pics of my ill little babies today :( who knows maybe i just cant grow MJ plants i`m just not green fingered enough or i just strees them out to much to begin with (god knows how if only i did) and they just cant survive afterwards.

does one of the seasoned growers in the UK wanna come round and heal my plants for me give them the magic touch :p

  13. Hey what's up bud , I'm assuming your not haveing much luck and they're not looking any better? throw us some updates , don't let them die on ya. Whatever is wrong with the plants is affecting all of them , try flushing some , and try to not give nutes to a few , figure out whats wrong , trial and error. if you do the same thing to all of them they're probably all gonna get screwed unless you pinpoint the problem. Gl man , I know I would be stressing if I did'nt know the problem , on top of that it's hard to push people to give you the answers your looking for. GL bro for real ;) k+

They're is always time to rebuild , heh and next time don't do what you did this time lol , whatever that may be. If you pick up a bag of foxfarms , and mix it up with some known organic fertz , it's pretty hard to screw up , no green thumb about it. I've never heard of B&Q , but I visited the website , they're soil is listed under the compost section (kinda). Maybe it's a soil conditioner, I could'nt find a picture or ingrediants. I screwed that up once about two years ago , found my self washing soil from all the root balls of my seedlings and haveing to replant. Does your friend mix his soil with other stuff by chance? If your original PH runoff before flush was 5.3 then that might be the problem. Hold off on the nutes for a bit i'de say , it's not yellowing from the lower leaves or the leaf tips , I don't think feeding it is gonna help , unless your missing out of some of the minor nutrients. keep testing your PH , if it stays low after a good dry period , get some PH up and see what you can manage , but only try fixing a few of them , if it makes them worse It could kill the entire crop. I wish I could do more than guess , keep us updated

  14. Hey HypeShot

thanks for the reply m8y yeh if oly i could put my finger on the problem

well so far one has been flushed with just Ph`d tap water

one has been flushed with a mild nute mix and tap water

two just watered normal with a mild mild nute mix

and two watered with phd tap water

lets c if this helps also i have picked off alot of the dead leaves so the plant can concentrate on the slightly better leafs. well thats the thinking anyway so a couple of the worse ones are looking a bit bear :(

    heres some pics

  15. I wish I was better at truble shooting these things...Fortunately LOTs of people on here are...I would suggest PMing somone like smknVTEC, or Urgr8estfear...if in big trouble PM DierWolf. These guys know their shit...if they tell you to jump...DO IT!

    GL bro.

  16. Nute deficient plants?
In nuteless soil with allmost no nutes added?;)
If you're sure about the pH just nute the damn things.
And don't expect the current damage to reverse either for it won't.
Focus on new growth when judging the effect of your nutechanges not the old.
Nute 'em, wait a few days, judge new growth. It's that simple.
    Good luck!

  17. i`ll wait afew days till the soil drys a bit then ? dont want to over water them ?

  18. Hey magillon I never mind PM's asking for help. That's why the City is here so hopefully we can help.

Boy if the first few pics of when the trouble first started doesn't look a lot like an iron deficiency. Take a look on the back of the nutes you are using. There should be micronutrients listed on the back such as zinc, iron, calcium, etc. I have a feeling those nutes you are using don't have those.

How are you testing the pH; strips, soil probe or digital?

How much of the nutes do you use per gallon of water; 1 tsp, or 3 tbs?

  19. Normally I'd wait too, but your plant is soooo hungry wet feet may be better then waiting.
    Your choice!
