Yo guys and gals, whilst using the wonderful firefox addon which is 'stumbleupon' I came across this interesting website. http://shroomr.com/ It utilizes google's map service and allows users to add the location of any spots inwhich mushrooms are growing, along with other details such as which type of mushroom is growing. I've found 2 sites within miles of my house, and have been wanting to try shrooms for a while now. A word of warning though, don't go picking shrooms with little experience/research as eating the wrong type of mushroom can potentially kill.
Hmm, Says Vernor Highway/Rosa Parks and a couple blocks form that it shows a spot, Right next to tiger stadium. Im vernor/springwells area so im close. My buddy lives right by rosa parks right there. But it shows some fuckin club...? Like its a hookup or somehting lol?

That site was gay...it was just a bunch of people placing mushrooms on random houses sayin I LIVED THERE and hey LOOK AT PARK BENCH or some stupid shit.
Yea, it's unregulated so obviously anyone can post locations anywhere; but I live in a small rural town in England and managed to find 2 locations which seem legit. (Both in field areas) Maybe you were unlucky? I'm sure this will prove useful for someone.
I have like 10 in my area but they all just say this is my house or something stupid like that, but you can edit what they say so its not very hard to get back at the people ruining the map

It's a very cool idea, but I don't think many of the people that have already used it took it very seriously. That's a shame because this could have been a good resource.

gutted! just moved into preston (lancs) and its nearl season and i dont know any pic sites. Thought the map might help but apparently not!!! Anyone know any good picking spots in and around the preston area?
