Many seem to ask...

...What is it like being high? I have decided to come onto here and write my feelings down while I am high to help out those noob smokers.

When smoking: (for those thinking about trying pot but wonder what the smoke is like)

I grab all of my gear and get outside or into a room to hotbox. While setting down my gear getting it all laid out preparing the bong getting water in the bubbler etc. I a wave of excitement flows through my veins and I begin to prepare for the wonderful time of toking on the magnificent herb.

I tend to load my bowl half full and depending on the occasion I might fully load it. However if a first timer is reading this I suggest just putting in a pinch and going from there.

As I corner my bowl through the hits, (never want to spark up the whole thing, I light just as much as I will be able to hold in perfectly) I feel tingles in my throat as the smoke ricochets throughout my lungs. The smoke makes me want to cough some but I hold it for 10 seconds if I hit big and only 5 if I hit small.

After my half bowl of cornering I will already begin to feel small head throbbing (this isn't a hurting throb, it is more of relaxing beats on the inside of my head). I will get on some good tunes and go outside on my backporch and relax.

Music is a deep thought when you are high. You hear every instrument being played at once and the singers voice sounds like it's inside of a room. You might be able to hear echos if you listen very carefuly. You hear the background singers at the same time as the main guy/gal.

You will start to feel your eyes drying out some. When you blink it feels dry, this is when you should put in eye drops or a dribble of water in your eyes.

While outside of my back porch I like to look around and notice nature, and small things on large objects. You will begin to glance around at things, but you look through the big objects and go straight to the small details. You will begin to notice people and be able to read body language like it is translated right there for you. You can see on t.v. that the people are faking their parts and you cannot be fooled.

Nature all blends together, you see the red of Georgia clay beating against the lush green grass unfolding before you. All life is euphoric, the birds contrast against the tree they perch apon. You might hear the occasional frog in the background or see the ripples of a splash from a fish.

When you take a bite of that nicely done pizza sitting right there beside you, your mouth will fill as the taste buds explode with the cheese and sauce. You will procede to take a big sip out of that ice cold coke while it slams into the back of your throat as waves do against rocks.

You might look up into clouds and notice small objects and figure heads. The blue sky looks almost as if it is from a mario nintendo game. You see the lining of trees coliding with the bright blue sky peaking up to touch the clouds that tend to look like cotton balls at times.

Some may ask... what is it like being high?
