Hi fellow growers, I have done a few grows and used good strains got good yields. My problem is that when i harvest my buds are very sticky and smell skunky but once they are manicured, and dried they lose their fragrance. All the resin/stickyness goes. It doesnt matter what strain I use I always have tonnes of resin on harvest then once manicured smell/stickyness goes. My procedure is I chop the plant and immediately manicure all buds then sit on newspaper in cool dry area to dry. I don't use gloves. The only thing I can think of is that my hands/skin sweats very acidic and this may effect the resin/THC is someway. Next time I will chop the plant hang upside down and Manicure wearing surgical gloves and NEVER touch the buds with bare hands. Will this help? Anyone had troubles. BTW I have a rusty touch ie I work with metal and my sweat rusts metal very quickly
Are you curing you buds after drying? Do a search on curing. This will bring back your smell and tastes. Hope this helps!
