mandala seeds?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Seeds Banks' started by stateparkgrower, Jan 25, 2011.

  1. any one used these guys before?

  2. ya their great
but if u want fast shipping go attitude.

  3. Can you clarify whether you mean mandala seed genetics or mandala seed service? Their seeds get universally good reviews and they are wicked cheap. I have a pack that is three days old. Hope they turn out sweet.

Im not sure about their seed shop. I've never used it. I would but haven't had cause to yet.

  4. mandala gear is great..most blades stay away cause they want femmed:eek:ok...but i like ta grow out regs..pick the best genetics and phenos...then sit back and watch their genetics kick ass...8 mile high is the best up high i have grown so far...and my hashberry scrog rocked..:smoke:

  5. i didn't like how skunky my hashberries got. but they were definitely resinous & cash croppable. that strain is one of high times' top 10 for a year, but i'm just not into indicas.

my 8 miles high, on the other hand, gave me the 1st taste of getting high i've had in 25 angry disgusted bitter years of enduring indicas save for a few true sativa buds i've been gifted and a few bags of superior mexican commercial.

that, high quality seeds' haze skunk & super cali haze are my 3 favorite indoor strains and i'd love to test all 3 side by side with other indoor sativa contenders like urban poison & apollo 11.

mandala has always been a favorite breeder with people because his gear delivers and is nicely priced if not AK-47 one hit wonder potent. even if i find or make a more potent & trippy indoor sativa than 8 miles high, i'll likely use it in breeding for it's smaller stature and 1st rate THC profile which offered precise body control & loving music were 2 prominent effects in my sample of 2 shorties & a stretcher's early bud yet the buzz was perfectly neutral and niether couchlocking, nor racy like one would expect if 50% sativas didn't act like 10%ers. it's a perfect introductory sativa buzz you could either party or chill on and what it lacked in mess with your head trippy pure sativa potency, it also lacked in the negatives that come with that territory too... dizziness, nausea, lung ejecting coughing, paranoia & that "man i wish i could get the fuck out of here" feeling you get when you overdo sativas & feel sick. i could smoke nothing but 8 miles high the rest of my life and never complain after stressing 25+ years to find it.

mandala just gives you good shit at a super price. i don't think he's really in it for the money and his pride & love shows in his product. i'll take 8 miles high over pretty much ANYTHING you can get on the street unless your street is in fucking beverly hills or something. it's like the best old school ALLEGEDLY 75% sativa skunk #1 (that really smokes more like it's 30%) without the couchlock. it's just a fun & pefectly balanced bud that doesn't stress you out in any way and wants to nudge you into having FUN.

i WILL be getting that again, but my 1/2 dozen C99 x hashberry beans are probably the last i'll see of that strain. i don't know if i ever sampled it's buzz or not, but just skunking is enough to rub me the wrong way because i despise indicas so much.

if you look online, there's a forum somewhere that breaks grow reports down by a couple dozen select breeders and there are reviews for many of mandala's top strains in his forum. try looking for it. i remember a lot of enthusiasm & satisfaction from growers of mandala's gear.

if you're just starting growing or just don't want to pay way more than it's worth or deal with the stress of potentially having an order get jacked, you can't gow rong with mandala or nirvana/sativa seeds. with either you can get a nice healthy crop of good smoke for under $35 without the drama of a lot of pricier breeders.

now that my high quality seeds' haze skunk has turned out better than i was expecting, i'm inclined to keep an eye on them in the value department. speaking of values, mandala has one strain he sells at regular price with 20 or maybe 30 seeds that i'm sure has the same level of quality as his other gear.

mandala is definitely one of my favorite breeders if only for 8 miles high although i think he has another sativa and his grenadella sounds a lot like C99 and i already have that covered.

  6. good stuff bro;)

  7. mandala seeds satori is real good too.

  8. I got 5 as a freebie from seed boutique didnt know if i should try em said it was safari pack. Might give em a go after reading this

  9. I love Mandala.

the Speed Queen is a good stable looking strain of california orange, very workable and playable and thinkable, with some body buzz and lots of energy with nice solid cerebral high and no confusion. Good for daytime and party time and anytime that sleep isn't the intent.

White Satin is very very buzzy...sex weed. All about 'touch me' all over... really something. No confusion, nicely in between the eyes high but without the trippy factor, but the buzz factor is the best of any weed i've grown out in years, and you can time the buzz to stone ratio by pulling the beast from the soil at 10% amber triches or less. It's a virbational high.

The Hashberry is heavy and skunky and needs some refining, large producer of indica bud if that's where you live. I don't like to drool in front of people.

The Sadhu is my favorite. I have this old mom of Mandalas's that's a Sadhu. The high is a low key wash of anti-anxiety, peaceful loving feelings, and elation per hit. It's cumulative, if you need some peace you hit the bong once, if you really need to chill out your anxiety and drive out the depression you hit it twice, if you want to talk to Gawd smoke lots. It's like soft blankets and warm socks and comfy pajama's and your favorite meal in pot-form. They should have named it peacemaker. It's by far the party pass around favorite of women.

Satori is interesting, it's an intense high that turns your mind inward. It's creative and inspirational and doesn't weigh your body down so you can paint, write, draw, work on things and think all those world saving thoughts! pick it with 50-50% clear to cloudy and no amber for the best of this strain.

Mandala #1 is for the flavour enthusiasts. All of them have a nice balanced high, some cerebral, some buzz and some stone and a flavour that you get in inhale and exhale in a vape of a bong. A lot like some good bubblegums.

  10. nice post..good detail..thanks bro..rep slap..love the user name;)

  11. 2 awesome posts - pokernaut and SkunkPatronus
And a very nice thread. I've been looking for some good Mandala reviews.

  12. pokernaut, SkunkPatronus. Those two replies were some of the most informative i have ever read. you have completely convinced me to use mandala seeds. could you give me some insight to my next grow?
Last year i grew clones of purple kush and the cheese outside in 20 gal containers with FFOF and happy frog (80/30) and FF nutes. What strains from mandala seeds would you use if you grew in containers outside, (last frost may15 first frost october20). the strains should lend themselves well to FIM/LST.

  13. Any plant that grows ok under artificial lights would be better outside...so any strain of mandalas, because they all grow nicely under the sun. Pick on that sounds like what you want in a finished product and grow it. Might just amend the ground and plant directly into it rather than confine the roots to a pot when you don't have to. Look into the outside growing area on the forum for directions on amending local soil.

  14. wordd but my growing conditions are anything but average. i have a safe place to grow thats very close to home and that i have great access to. Sadly this spot has great sun but zero soil(in the middle of the woods on a section of exposed rock 25*50). So i have to use containers and that why i wonder what strains would perform in containers.

  15. use large containers and put something between them and the rock to insulate from the rock bakin' in sun...how far ya gotta lug water:smoke:might also consider some kind of mousture retaining additive for the soil to cut down on watering..i've grown 8 mile high...great head high...and hashberry...all around good stone...great genetics..cant go wrong:smoke:

tell us more about the cali-o. how does she TASTE?

i never finished my disconiued nirvana cali-os, but it's always been one of the most interesting flavor strains to me as i love me some vit'min C! i love chewing lemons and watching people cringe in terror. LOL not like the bitter in limes or grapefruit though.

if there's as much as an orange fruit loops taste to his whatever cali-o, i want to try some of that. a really orangey cali-o that's not too stony & preferably a little euphoric or psychoactive would be a top contender with me for my just in case & night capping indica regular.

i'm not touching what's left of my hashberries though until i have better odor control. not a fan of the dank. i'd rather stealth around town & crumble as needed, but usually just carry little woody in a 2x3 sac in case i have to ditch it like i did when a cop came to a fight i was having while he intervied the ahole who was about to get hurt really bad if the cops weren't already coming. (EDIT: ramble ramble ramble) ever smell someone in a theater or something advertising their OGers?

MMA tip, if you're ever in full mount, NEVER push your crotch anywhere over someone's nipples to gloat or you are about to get reversed hard

  17. i use 20 gal containers but it never struck me to insulate them from the rock. Good idea. do u think i should use bigger containers? i have to lug everthing, water, soil, etc about 200 ft from a dirt maintenance rd. Ive been trying to figure out ways to cut down on all the watering trips. so far i'm starting to think some kind of slow-drip gravity system might be the most effeicent way to water. i dont really know alot about water pumps.

i had to plus rep that comparison of all of mandala's strains.

the racy one sounds a lot like kali mist & C99. i thought kalichakra sounded even more like cindy

i just love me some 8 miles high though. to use the more poetic style of my new smoke reporting rival (hey! smoke reporting is MY TURF! LOL)

8 miles high is like a reunion with your first lover who knows what you like and where to touch you & has been working out & learning new tricks like the ever popular squeeze box ;) giving you the best slow comnfortable of your life. it simply does no wrong and is perfect for any situation from 1st smokes by naturally jumpy noobs (great mellow euphoria) to party passing

mandala has a rep for having "less potent" strains that i don't think is fair. the overlying theme of his strains seems to be "mellow" and that can be WAY BETTER than potent if the THC profile is quality.

i'm no stranger to potent pray for death sativas and love their trippy buzz right up to the point where it grows fangs and turn on you hard and love that kind of old school buzz the best, but as far as i'm concerned, 8 miles is no one's bitch in the quality department. any lack in potency went into a buzz that does absolutely nothing wrong. the japanese couldn't invent a more polite strain if they tried. LOL

japanese product description for 8 miles high:
"is most efficient of happiness department. your ancestors smile upon your sexy dance vacation. most sincerely is not of the go to bed dragon. geisha must run & see most virile penis of samurai warrior when most humble smoker is at the scene of party event happening with 12.874752 kilometers above land of rising sun. all must respect mandalasan & the productu that is politely belong to him of foreigner origin. buy 12.874752 kilometers above land of rising sun now for to stop gojira's mighty anger and for saving of properous tokyo. our mighty robots and honorable scientists not achieve defeat honor of 12.874752 kilometers above land of rising sun and make superior copy for glory of our emperor and proud japanese industry of tourism greeting. HI!"

  19. If you have a water source near by that you can run lines from and turn on daily you might think about growing in bales of hay or straw. There is good info on the internet about growing veggies in bales. I tryed it last year in a very low area that will be too wet to grow in with normal to above normal rain fall. It worked better than i ever thought it would. It takes daily watering and weekly fertilizing but I love it, no one thinks about it being grown in swampy areas or in places with poor soil. Im going back this seasonI
