Okay, so I was planning on trying to grow for my first time so I germinated like 3-4 seeds. They all germinated and grew varying fromabout 4-6 1/2 inch root with a small sprout (2 small leaf-things) on top within a week and I planted them in some potting soil I had purchased. However, within a few (actually more like 8-10) hours, the protruding sprouts had tilted over in the dirt and wilted. Is there anyway to save them? PLEASE HELP ME OUT id ont want them to die.
i allways start the seeds off in the pots i'm going to grow them in, that way no transplantations are required............just make sure you don't overwater them, and give them lots of light.....light = energy for the plant...........Peace out.......Sid
As soon as you see the taproot coming out of the seed your going to want to plant the seeds. If there is no photosynthate (medium) by the time that the 2 cotyledons have popped out, then it will most likely die.
Its best they die now, anyway! Sounds harsh but there's nothin worse than waiting 2 months for 'em to grow and then they die on you, all that energy (and electric) for nowt!! Keep reading up on growing info and try again! Keep the faith!
