I believe it is a male but I just wanna make sure before I chop it. They are three weeks old from topping the soil.
is there just the single balls or have they started to cluster?? if its single balls id wait to see if hairs start to pot out. did you say if you were flowering yet?
after a second look its startin to look loike a male. sorry man, im dealin with a hermie problem it suck.
Nah they are still in veg, it is just pre flowers. It looks like there is one next to the other at one spot on the plant plus the plant is about a day or two farther than the others I have already identified as female. In pics 3 and 5 you can see what I mean by they are forming next to eachother.
Well after hours of debating I finally accepted that it was a male BUT all is not lost because it still has a use. I cloned the hell out of it to keep a short male around for future breeding experiments. I got about 6 or 7 clones in my DIY bubble cloner and will pick the best looking one to be a father plant Here is what was left of him when I got done but this will be trashed once I start seeing roots. And here is the clones in the cloner.
i don't see bananas. I see new growth. Many plants do not show sex during veg - and usually will not show sex until 7-12 days into flowering (12/12 lights). I would not count this plant out.
are you just going to keep it veging in with your other plants till you find a need? haha. interesting project anyways, i want to make a new strain one day myself that would be sweet.
I have another plant from the same bag seed that has shown preflowers and it didn't have two spots(whatever they are called)that were sitting on top of each other like when a male. Also, I don't think bananas form until late into flowering because the plant becomes stressed because it hasn't been pollinated and wants to make seeds for future generations.
