I herd people saying if you have a male plant you should throw it out. I herd it does something to the female plants. can someone explain this?
Male plant fertilizes the buds on the female plants and you get hundreds of seeds... which obviously you cant smoke!! If you want seeds, keep the males, if you want weed to smoke throw them out!
If you get rid of the males you could still get seeds. When you change the light cycle to a 12/12 schedule to flower the plant, make sure that no light gets to your plant during the dark period or they could turn into hermaphrodites and make their own seeds. But as long as you throw away the males and keep your grow box light free during dark periods you will have high quality, seedless buds. Hope this helps Im gonna go blaze
