Male Plant whiskey experiment

Discussion in 'Cannabis & Weed Edibles: Cooking & Recipes' started by Smitty619, Sep 1, 2012.

  1. I just checked on my plants and found a male :'( So I decided, since they're all 3 weeks into flowering. I don't want to waste the 2 months and 3 weeks I've already gone by to get a male plant so I'm going to try something new. I'm a super-lightweight because I just got off probation on the 28th and just picked up a half gallon of five star whiskey. I didn't want to waste a male plant so I picked all the leaves and branches except for the main stem. Now my plant is just a stick with roots, haha. Anyways, I ended up with 14g of cracker dry male leaves. They say that a male plant has about 2% THC, while females are closer to 20% on average, so theoretically, 14g of male leaves is 1.4g of 20% thc bud, correct me if I'm wrong. I poured the ground up leaves and stems in the blender, and i'm soaking all the leaves with about 2 ounces of bottom-shelf whiskey. Since I have not yet smoked anything but a blunt of reggos on the 28th, I have no tolerance and will be able to determine if you can make a tincture of male leafs.

  2. I've made weed tincture before and i'm using the standard procedure, heating every so often with lid off, shaking every couple minutes while being heated, then allowed to rest for a couple hours. I'll be doing this for three days and I'll let you guys know how it went.
