Male or female?

  1. Or too early to tell for sure? This is my buddies plant that was sent into flowering recently. We're thinking these look like male preflowers, but would like some opinions from blades more experienced in these matters. Sucks cus the plant is looking great overall and we'd hate to have to scrap it/turn it to hash.

    Thanks

  2. Looks Hermi (male and female) to me....sorry man. might have to scrap em. wait for others to post for sure tho.

  3. Im saying it's a male

  4. Yup.
    For sure a male.
    Sorry man.
    :(

  5. Left pic is definitely male. Can't make hash with that either.

  6. Damn, hate to hear that but thanks for the confirmation guys. Is it worth making some QWISO with it?

  7. The pics are the same plant, just different parts and lighting. I thought there were minimal amounts of thc in males, but sucks to hear its no good for hash

  8. No THC in males, just hermi's . But hermi's come from female plants that were neglected. Males just come from genetics. Time to germinate a few more seeds!

  9. Gotcha, thanks for clarifying that. Sounds like its about that time

  10. better luck this time:smoking:

  11. Thank you sir.

  12. definitely looks like a boy...hermaphrodites usually show their female colors befor male from the ones I've had either way it has seriouse balls looking to impregnate. Pull or isolate it if you like seedy yucky stuff.

  13. Thanks for the input, we're gonna let it go just a little longer to rule out the possibility that it could be a hermie and not male. This was a first real attempt at growing by a friend and I so we didn't want to spend much or risk messing up on legit seeds.

  14. Update, 4/25:

Well after thinking the plant was a male, we moved it from our place to a secret outdoor location nearby, just to see what it would do, if anything. After checking up on it a few days later, there are now female flowers forming. Unfortunately, several pollen sacs had already opened.. There is no way we can check on the plant daily or often enough to remove pollen sacs, so we're just gonna let it grow naturally and see what happens.

If it survives the weather and being found, we're expecting some seedy bud, but do yall think the quality would be anything worthwhile?

Thanks blades, here's some pics of the flowers.
