Hey all. I had a quick question about male flowering time. I've been working on hybrids for awhile now but never really paid any attention to the amount of time it took from switching to 12/12 until my male flowers were actually dropping pollen. The reason for the concern is I have a closet grow going on partitioned into a flower section and a veg section. In my flower section I have un-pollenated females ready to harvest in 3 weeks. In the other section I have my males and females just reaching maturity and I want to have the females fertilized and sent to my grow house to seed before I move out of my current place. My new place does not allow growing. So my question is... Since I plan on switching my males from veg to flower today, are my females that i dont want pollenated safe for the next 3 weeks until I harvest? Thanks.
Also... If the male flowers do end up pollenating my females in their last week of flower will that one week if pollenatedd affect the buds quality much?
