making my first Gravity Bong tomorrow (help)

you should just use a giant soda bottle...and dont put glue around it...just heat up scissors and put a hole big enuf for the socket to be snugg in the cap

 

Hey man giving u a heads up, do NOT let the smoke sit in the tube for a minute or two. it will go stall and taste so so so much worse then a harsh bucket would taste. I would stay away from the glue that sounds like a bad idea. It could possibly get hot enough and let off very harmful fumes. I personally dont use wrench sockets but use a piece off a crack pipe. If you buy a crack pipe and take the actually bowl piece apart u will have a very good piece that a can work like a screw. It has threads on it to make it easy.

 

just hold a lighter to the tip for a little...but it will turn the scissors a little black...and also, if you make it out of a 2 liter bottle, you don't have to fill it up all the way, you can press it back down whenever you have how ever much smoke you want in it...and not being a dick but just checking, you do kno how to hit a gravity bong right?

You push the bottle slowly back down in the bucket of water and inhale...all the smoke gets pushed into your lungs....so you can take massive hits without even feeling it

 

ohh i think your talking a waterfall gravity bong


well if you can get a bucket as tall as the 2 liter bottle...its way more worth it

 

i always upt hpt glue around my sockets. but somehting to do is get a pen tube(the cheap type from like tax services and stuff), pull out the innards, push the button thong on the back out with a coat hanger, chew on one end, and shove the socket in. then, oyu have a consistent size, and can make the hoke in the cap one size. then, you can use the pen as a downstem for homemade bongs and stuff whan youre done.

as for the hole, i suggest drilling, but if oyu dont have access, get a paperclip and heat it over a lughter for 30 secs, and melt a hole in th cap. stick an x-acto knife in there, and move in cirlcles, checking to see that the pen sticks in there periodically. airtight my friend.

 

Haha thats a different kind of gravity bong. The one you making has a hole is the bottom to drain out water and pull in smoke, right?
Also, I dont recommend smoking out of metal or plastic, and my only exception is homemade stuff. So for the screen instead of the faucet thingy, you should use a small stone that is big enough to cover the hole in you bowl (wash the stone first). Its perfectly health and natural.

 

i think so...not that much work ethier

1. get a 2 liter bottle, socket, scissors, lighter, bucket (as tall as bottle)

2. cut the bottom of the bottle off completely

3. heat up the scissors and put a hole in the cap and press the socket through until air tight fit.

4. fill up the bucket with water and place bottle in.

5. put weed in socket

6. Light weed and slowly pull bottle out of water (not fully)

7. when close to being fully pulled out, take cap off, put mouth on opening and press down and inhale

thats all!

 

Whoa Whoa! Ok you all seem to be on the same wave length but as a professional waterfall toker i have some things to tell you that it is going to be way more worth your time.

First off if your going to make a good waterfall you need a bottle that is about a liter that is about the perfect amount of volume.

Second and most important is that you actually use a glass slider bowl from a bong, you can get a cheap small one for $8 it is totally worth it and you can use it for many other things. We strive to recycle as stoners.

Third all you have to do to attach it is to get a knife or a pair of scissors, and then use a drilling motion to make the hole. Go slowly because it might be tricky to get a perfectly circular hole. once the whole is just about the right size hit it really quickly with a lighter to heat up the edges and stick the bowl in.

The whole on the bottom should be the same size roughly as the one for the bowl.

Ok now you just light and let the water outto fill the chamber but the best thing is to save a little water in the bottom to shake up with the smoke. (after you remove the bowl obviously) The THC is not water soluble so you will be just removing tar and cooling the smoke.

Use a screen and grind your herb, you only need a very small amount of herb. and do not light it the whole way, i dont know if you would but it is a common mistake when your high. you do not want the taste of lighter fluid.

Also perpare to be higher from one hit than you have ever been and enjoy, you have just discovered the best way to conserve weed and get super baked.

 

The stone should only be slightly bigger than the hole, and there will be enough space for the smoke to go around the sides of the stone with out loosing any ganja.

 

What I used when I made my first. I used a gallon water bottle, did the trick. It's much easier if you have a stem from a bong or something like that.

 

Wow gravity bongs went high tech. I don't think I have done a gravity bong in about 17 years. All we did back then is cut the bottom off a 2 liter bottle of soda, get a bucket, fill it with water, and use a piece of tin foil for the screen, easily molded, then poked with holes, and prefit for a good hit and easy removal.

But you guys rock, making them high tech. lol. I applaud you.
