making ice cream

  1. I have an icecream maker and want to try making a batch of of thc ice cream. I Have a recipe that I use to make some decent vanilla ice cream, and plan on using that. It calls for some heavy whipping cream, which is what I plan on using as my base.

    The recipe is:
    1-1/2 cups whole milk
    1-1/8 cups granulated sugar
    3 cups heavy cream
    1-1/2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract

    I will probably modify it to taste like chocolate or something else that can mask the weed flavor.

    So, I am curious about how to make the cream. I was thinking about getting some keef. I wanted to know how much should I use. This recipe will make about 8 1/2cup servings, so I would assume a gram would be adequate for my first batch. Is this a safe assumption?

    I plan on bringing the cream to a near boil and dissolving the keef in that. Would this work?

I dont know. man ppl here are kinda prude as how to make ice cream i asked the same question a while ago and i got no reply what so ever. personally i would but an ass ton in there and eat it till you get the dose you want. plus it will last longer than most other foods you infuse (cold) other than a twinkie maby but thats too mind blowing.
     
  3. One gram distributed through eight servings? A bit low. I'd go with an eighth. One half gram per serving seems pretty good.
