Making Hash

    Thanks to Hashmouf's guides to hash, I myself have decided to make hash. However I noticed in his guides that he was using a 1/4 of trimmings and stems. The thing is, I was wondering if an 1/8 of some buds would yield a nice batch of QWISO or Cold Water hash? I was thinking more likely then not QWISO and then having 2 washes. But will an 1/8 of bud even yield a mentionable amound, I think it should right?

    what i sometimes do is buy an ounce and use half of that to get about .4 grams of hash, but i only let the iso mix with the weed for like 15 seconds so that my hash is more potent. so yea with an 1/8 u prolly wont get much hash, i would use a half at least.

    Quick question, why do people prefer to turn their buds into hash? I mean isn't 14g of bud -> 1g of hash kind of a shitty ratio?

    hmm, u got a point. fuck makin hash. vape your bud! then clean your whip with iso, save that nasty iso for your next cleaning and just keep reusin it on your vape after about 3 cleanings let the iso evaporate and there u go! you got your hash

    you only get 0.4 grams from 1.5 oz? is that dank or mids?

    If youre only getting .4 grams outta 14 grams youre doing something wrong, as hashmouf got 2 grams using 1/4 stems and trimmings so I would assume using buds would produce more then stems and trimmings as they have the majority of the THC.

    You can make really nice QWISO using oldschoolgrower's guide, that'll give you some really nice oil which is going to be quite potent :wave: I probably wouldn't bother making hash other than as a once in a while treat unless you grow though, which is why I suggest making OSG's as it's very high quality even though the yield will be fairly low it'll be a great treat.

    This is only a treat for me and a few buddies this weekend, and I've seen his guide, and hashmouf's is just so much simpler. My question is though if an 1/8 of bud should produce a nice yield

    Don't know what method hashmouf uses but if it is QWISO the yield won't be that high, if it is dank bud you can get like a gram or something out of an eighth?

    Is it worth it? Yes, do it. If you do it well that gram will hit hard.

    Awesome, a gram of hash along with an eighth will be awsome haha. Plus, hashmouf did two washes and got 1 gram of high quality, and a 2nd gram of medium quality, so maybe Ill make two washes andhave hopefully 2 grams mwa haha.

    EDIT: Also Snaek you should definately check out hashmouf's guide

    Just checked it out looks like a good method basically how I do it, it would certainly be worth it to do a second wash and the first wash product will be really potent you'll be happy with the results.

    Cool man, I'm pretty excited about it actually. So I should get a good yield and good quality...man weed is just the best.
