Making Firecrackers for the first time - will this peanut butter work?

Discussion in 'Cannabis & Weed Edibles: Cooking & Recipes' started by nyjetfan125, Nov 19, 2010.

  1. I read the sticky, and am pretty sure i am fine. But will Jiff creamy peanutbutter work, i hear natural is the best but this paticular peanutbutter has 16g of fat per serving and has hydrogenated vegetable oil. Will this work or should i just go to the store and buy the natural type. Any experiences of certain peanutbutters working would be great ( I heard skippy doesnt work ). Also would mixing additional vegetable oil be advised or is that just overkill?

  2. Jiff creamy peanut butter works perfectly!

  3. I've made firecrackers twice and used skippy. I would reccomend whatever pb you use, add a little canola/vegetable oil to it so there is more fat to absorb thc. Also it makes it easier to work with and spread.

  4. Get your cannabis soaked in as much fat (olive, canola, coconut oils, butter, whatever) as you can before you bake it. And bake it until it's well cooked and crispy - thats the only way it'll for sure cook completely.
