making edible hash

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by LovelyLady, Dec 22, 2012.

  1. is alcohol (rum, everclear) or ice bath/stirring better in making edible hash?

Would I process the same amount of 2oz outer leaves for hash if process 2oz outer leaf for 1# butter?

  2. Out of the choices the ice water method would probably be best.

Or you can just make cannabutter. Either this way (with extraction of thc happening in the butter then filtered out) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bu67gbZf6Fw]Canna butter - marijuana butter.mov - YouTube[/ame]

Or make dry keif hash from dry ice extraction and add it to your dry ingredient mix (or put it in butter to make keif-cannabutter.) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xaVwVdPXOFc]Dry Ice Hash - YouTube[/ame]

What are you planning on cooking?

  3. oh anything really. I just thought BadKat told me that making a hash is better way to make edibles. Especially those recipes that don't call for much (or no) fat/oils.
