making canabutter

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by GrassMan420420, Dec 20, 2011.

  1. hello all,

I want to make canabutter but only use an 1/8th (3.5g) of bud (no trim/leaves).
what is the best way to make it as strong as possible?
how much butter should i use for an 1/8th?

    one love,
grassman :smoke: :smoke: :smoke: :smoke: :smoke: :smoke:

  2. I'd say a stick or two is enough of no-salt butter and expect to lose a forth to half of a stick making it. Keep it at a low simmer for several hours till the weed quits rising to the top when stirred. Find a recipe that uses lots of butter (peanut butter balls) and make a small batch.

  3. If you have your heart set on using butter
then you're limiting your potency from the start

use coconut oil instead, it works about twice as well as butter ;)

here is a good starting place.
