Making Brownies Today, Got a few questions!

    I'm thinking of making brownies for the first time today! So first off, today I'm going to be home alone from 2:30 pm to 9:00pm. So about 6 1/2 hours, will this be enough time for me to bake and get rid of the smell? I've read a few recipies but can I use any random brownie mix? Thanks, and any extra tips would be appreciated! :yummy:
