making brownies out of a premade kit

    for exi have a zebra brownie making kit and was wondering if instead of doing the whole cannabutter deal,can i just throw some dank into the brownie mix once ive put all the ingredients(milk,eggs,butter,etcc)...also,will it smell like brownies or the plant?

    also,i didn't know where to post this and this area seemed to fit the purpose,if its the wrong area,my bad

    i think ud have 2 use oil instead of butter [if the recipe on the box calls for butter] in that case.
    and as far the smell goes, idk. i havent made any edibles, but i would think ud smell the bud more.

    im guessin u dont have an access to a kitchen where u can make cannabudder or have the aroma of bud lingering around. try looking for a friend who lives by themself or have parents or roomates who doesnt care and ask them if u can use their kitchen and of course tell them what u would be doing. and if they smoke, make sure u give them some brownies to say thanks.

    haha, no problem man. im in the same situation, just waitin til i have enough for an oz and gonna ask my friend/connect if i can use his kitchen

    You definitely can't just throw bud into the batter, and replacing butter with oil in a recipe that calls for butter probably won't work....is it a problem of not being able to make cannabutter because of the smell? If not, you can find a brownie mix that calls for like 1/3 cup of oil and just simmer the bud in it for like 45 minutes at a very low temperature, then add the oil to the recipe after it cools down as you would normally . In my experience that method doesn't work as well as making brownies with cannabutter, but it works and doesnt require as much work and time as cannabutter.

    lol see thats how you know im a noob at this,i didn't even know it required an oz,i had a quarter ounce, and good luck with your edibles man, ill probably do this next time i re-up @ a friends place
    the smell is the only reason, but thanks, i'll probably make these later with one of the tuts on the site

    oh no! u dont need an oz, ppl recommend using half an oz, but im sure u can use a quarter. i just want an oz, so i can use half to make cannabudder and the other half just to smoke. sorry i confused u, so ur definitely not a noob haha
