Making An Antler Chillum For Funzies.

  1. Thought I'd grind out an antler chillum, mostly for the sake of occupying myself, since I hear that antler pieces aren't the tastiest things to smoke out of. The plan is to put some tiny magnets into the end of the tip and mouthpiece so it looks semi whole and you'd pull the tip off to draw from it.

  3. Interesting.

You sure you can smoke out of it? I imagine taking fire to an antler can't be very good. It will probably also char your piece and turn it black. Props for the ingenuity though.

  4. My father made me a spoon looking pipe, with out the carb. Made from a deer antler. It hit great!!!! Didn't taste weird or anything. I lost it over they years. I hope I find it one of these days. It was like a small bowl though 3 inches long and just small. Like an antler onie.

  6. The taste was my first thought lol. Cool project though!

  7. Thanks for all the input!

Yeah, antler isn't the BEST thing to use, but I love making toking tools, and I don't have nearly as much money as I'd need to get started learning glass blowing.

So I pretty much stick to antlers and working bottles with a drill. Tubing.

  8. I had one my dad made that was like a bowl it didn't taste bad at all idk why ppl are talking about the taste. But I lost it about a year ago I called it Bambi haha

  9. Looks awesome but I probably wouldn't use just because I imagine the smell of a burning bone that I once threw in a campfire. It was awful and had to dig it out of the fire and camp still smelled funny all night.
