Can somebody give me some instruction on how I can make a makeshift grow tent for under $100 with mylar and stuff you can get from a hardware store? Also, I'll need to have some heat ventilation from the light. Help is very much appreciated.
Well, you could always buy a grow tent for around that much? Otherwise I have heard you don't want to use PVC pipe due to chlorine based gas leakage from the light which can harm the plant.
I use pvc with no problems. its the pvc glue you don't want to use. if you do use pvc make sure its thick enough to support the weight of your lights. at least 3/4 in.
White PVC is ok because it's used for water, grey PVC is bad used for waste and emits toxins when heated up
