Making a clay bowl question

  1. so i made a charizard out of clay and the bowl piece is his mouth and you pull through the tail. its fired and all now so i have to glaze it. should i glaze the bowl pack or just leave it unglazed. its earthware (i think thats what its called) clay, the kind that feels rough and absorbs water

  2. Not sure, but could you post pics? That sounds awesome. Also, I don't know anything about glazes, but it might be harmful to smoke, not sure though. Actually, they glaze glass and stuff, I think it will be fine... :smoke:

  3. just make sure you get "Food grade glaze" and you Deff have to put it in the kiln ;)

  4. If you're looking to really make that art piece shine I'd go with a Benford kiln.
