i need help on becoming a more positive person, i want to love every1. and i feel as though i am very negative not that i'm a miserable person like for example i laugh and the horible misfortunes of others, i like when people lose (not my firends and family) i don't know if i'm makiong sence but whatever
Why do you want to love everyone? What's your motivation? Some people are easy to love, some not so. That's life, eh? I think you're the only person who can "make" you be a peaceful person. Ask yourself all of these questions.
Peace is a state of mind, not when we "love every1" but when we truly love ourselves... But reality is inevitable and its the drama that come with it that shatters us and take us to a very real place, crash and burn, then we learn... What im trying to say is that you don’t want to love everyone, because everyone... somebody… just one person could cause so much harm. To be able to accept yourself and accept others for who they are is the key, but always have that wall up for those people who you cant see going anywhere in life because let face it… people could be the most ignorant, selfish, looser MFs that mooch off you for years and never seem to pay back…. Basically people that use and abuse… they just end up pulling you more down… Go chill with your homies/peeps/amigos/comrades/mates/compadres (I covered most continents i think lol!), smoke before hitting to the road... get some good food, none of that McD's stuff... A good meal... continue to smoke some more... hang out in a public place so your exposed to life not just a room in your house ya know?? Somewhere with girls man, find yourself one, and do what peace is really all about = )... And for the ones that start the drama and take us to that real place.... crash and burn... Next one till you find the one that fits like an tailored Italian glove, and helps us to the road to true enlightenment. I just really feel you... My past year just.... hasn't worked on my favor and has made me really cynical, bitter maybe... but Im slowly releasing what I’ve regressed, but I sometimes get anxiety attacks only in certain places that remind me of a person... When I drive by her house I start to shake uncontrollably, and when ever shes in my line of sight I get shortness of breath or something... And I get really agitated... And I assure you, Its not a crush ...
Hey OG good post man... I have had my harder times and much of the better... But it really is how you look at it what you make of it-(quantum mechanics and physics)Helped here. Peace comes with maturity, money and self appreciation etc... You need to seek the best for you and take control of your life(whether happy or not) I really do feel we create our own universe.. So everything you see, feel, hear and experience is what you created...(Kinda like you are the only person and every body else is not really there) this has given me the chance to see into the future make certain things happen for me or others before it does.. ETC Please just associate with positive people, because thats what you deserve.
Just listen to "Imagine". Honestly, listening to more positive music will always put you in a more peaceful mood...music is amazing.
it would truly be a tragedy if anybody or anybody could make you do something. Seeking peace is always the first step to obtaining it. But you always have to remember that there are sacrifices that you must be willing to make to obtain it. When you are willing to sacrifice everything, just make sure that you don't sacrifice something that is worth more than what you are going to get by sacrificing it.
Your life is a preperation for your inevitable death that can come at anytime. God is humble of you because you are mortal. God himself realises that your life has more meaning than his. Because any moment can be your last. You see, life is a ride in the amusement park. It has it's ups and downs. And it's fun for a while. Some people are heavly invested in this ride. They tell you look at my big bank accounts, my family, and my car. Because they have much invested into this ride. Which is sad... Because they don't even know they don't even know that this is just a ride. So I ask of you one question... Why spend this one time ride being angry?
Thanks phish... you 2 highgrow... True peace... like everything else really does require sacrifices, but never at our personas expense. We all have our own rightly deserved spot in this world that caters who we are, and to expose it with out fear of rejection or being ridiculed ... with out fear... is when we our in touch with our self's. You laugh when people loose? like tv shows n stuff?? Its like Sam said... people are cluster fuks... by SIMPLE nature, humans are selfish in the sense that we always look out for number one... our small momentary gain is far more important than someone else's great achievement, and that's just true... Its survival... that's us, being us... If by being you makes you a horrible person, the you are cursed with a life time of unhappiness and misery. Horrible people are the ones who lead their life blinded (keyword) by their own selfish motivation... With out consideration of others. I was raised catholic, but broke away from it to try to find more meaning many years ago... But I think that the ten commandments are a guide... on improving ourselves, and allowing us to grow into our minds, not out of it.... It teaches us humility...
Your going to do very well around here. Just one thing though. Don't take the 10 commandments as being perfect, they are one side, but not love. They are the commandments of Patriarchal society, fascism and corporationism. Matriarchal society also has commandments, but they aren't necessarily written down, they are the laws of conservation and equality, the socialist state and welfare. True peace and freedom is in finding the loop hole, and serving neither by loving both.
I could see that, specially coming from a catholic family, but to retort, I was merely trying to say that the road to "Zion", peace, enlightenment... call it what you will is on the road to humility. To able to love is able to respect, humility keeps us in check. Ultimately, peace is the awareness of who we are and our place on earth. No man is superior to another, just another soul put next to our path to live under one roof, so why make ur'self any less important to those around you... And understand that nothing that I will ever posses, makes my trials and tribulation any different to others...

What kind of love are you talking about? True love which was practiced by jesus of nazareth? Or the love that humans corrupt into a possessive type of relationship?
