Hello, I have been looking into stocking up on seeds and thought why not make my own. I was wondering if i buy my favorite seeds (males and female) and just let them grow together in my 4x4 tent, will they naturally breed and make alot of seeds? or would I have to manually breed for more seeds? Also, will they be the same overall (plant traits) being im breeding the exact strain/brand? Thanks in advance guys. Sorry for the rookie Q.
if the seeds you buy are true breeding strains not hybrids then that is what you will get. you need to sex them because you don't want different males going off just pick your best male and female and breed them/ one female will give you plenty of seeds.
random males and females growing together will produce seeds but it will be a lot more effective if you select ideal males and collect their pollen and then selectively pollinate your females that you like. This way you will get more reliable results and you can actually enjoy the weed you will grow (left uncontrolled males and females together will produce such seedy bud its not even worth it)
