Make firecrackers taste better

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by awoodward420, Sep 22, 2012.

  1. so i've made these things about 3-4 times and yes, every time i've ate them they taste like horse cock. I'm planning on making one for school monday and i've got about .8-1g worth of bud. does ANYBODY have ANY advice on how to make these things taste better? it'd be much appreciated :smoke::smoke::smoke:

  2. replace peanut butter with nutella

  3.
replace peanut butter with nutella
This I always used PB but I tried nutella in one and it tasted good

  4. I mix PB and nutella together, sometimes with a little coconut oil.
You can add some ground coffee and/or a few drops of caramel or vanilla extract.

  5. I use Peter Pan all natural honey roasted peanut butter. It's nice and oily for good extraction and helps the taste tremendously. Give it a try!

  6. Use graham crackers instead of saltines

  7. Kat Crackers -aka- Canna Quickie ~Fudge~ Cookie Sandwich

Higher fat content, a better oil source, and they taste amazing! :hello:

Just remember that especially firecrackers, but even the above, are 'worst-case-scenario' edibles, meaning
you're trading away potency in exchange for the 'stealth' of the method.

In any given amount of time, you'll make more progress breaking down cannabis glandular material and promoting
bioavailability, with a pure oil source.

In other words, it's actually just as easy if not easier to make oil, and you'll be able to squeeze up to three or four much
stronger, and longer-lasting doses, from the same material it takes to make just ONE semi-functional firecracker.

So even if butter/cooking oil and peanut butter are all you have to work with, you can make not only a tastier, but a
MUCH more effective edible with a longer shelf-life if needed, by following any of the below tutorials, and making oil
    first...

BadKat's Highly Activated & Bioavailable, Med-Grade Canna Oil (starting with flowers/bud/trim etc)

    Med-Grade Canna Oil

If you decide you really enjoy edibles (or concentrate for smoking/vaping [IMG] ), these tutorials may inspire you a bit, as well...

BadKat's Highly Activated & Bioavailable, Med-Grade Cannabis Concentrate (Edible & Smokable recipes included... similar to Phoenix Tears & BHO, but made with food grade/drinking alcohol)

    -Medical Grade Cannabis Concentrate-

BadKat's Highly Activated & Bioavailable, Med-Grade Hash Oil (starting with dry-sift hash, same as capsule recipe, oil can also be used for cooking)

    Med-Grade Hash Oil

    ----

    Another benefit...

Oil has an incredibly long shelf-life!

If you make up a batch and something 'comes up', and you realize too late that you can't eat it for a while, it will last for
months on a pantry shelf, and years in the freezer! :hello:

You can make a single-serving using your oil, or an entire batch of edibles, and it opens up many possibilities
    beyond peanut butter, and sweets...

    ----

A few ideas to get your creativity going... remember, once your oil is done, cold edibles will produce the least smell
    if odor is an issue!

Truffles, potato salad, quickie canna peanut butter fudge, fruit salads... these and others like them below, are great
    cold and odorless recipes. [IMG]

Just had some of these for breakfast again, a few days ago or so... the batch below is from a few weeks earlier. [IMG]

This was part of a small brunch, for guests, about a week ago...

Truffles are super simple, they require three or four simple ingredients, they take about 10 minutes.. and no baking is required!

You can skip the chocolate coating and the 'fuse' for the BOMBS, to make a much more simple PB fudge treat..

And we all know what these are... just some 'BOMBS' without the fuse, made with hash oil infused chocolate & simple PB Fudge [IMG][IMG]

If coating in chocolate seems like too much effort, just buy your favorite brand and top a few hand-formed PB Canna or Hash Fudge Bites. :)

    Then, you have drinkables...

These take the average 'Canna Milk' to the next level :D

And if you want something really simple... just pop your oil into capsules when you're done!

This means after making your oil, if both odor and privacy are issues, capsules can be finished up right in your bedroom or a
clean bathroom... (remember a good, pure oil will keep for months, sometimes YEARS when sealed well in a simple pantry,
closet or cupboard. Same goes for capsules, and you can make a fresh batch of oil any time you're whipping up another recipe,
and have an excuse to be in the kitchen for a little while [IMG] ).

You can buy hundreds of empty capsules at local health food shops and grocery stores for less than $5 - $10 (for hundreds
of potential doses), and a 'pipette', or even a simple syringe-style dental 'water pick' found at most grocery stores can be used
    to fill your caps.

(Some smoking concentrate made the same way as the above caps, minus the oil of course, with a faster wash/rinse...)

They are some of the cheapest, most discreet, and least-smelly edibles you can make, with the added benefit of an
incredibly long shelf-life. Not to mention all the ingredients can be kept right in your room, and require no refrigeration. [IMG]

And lastly, if you're the type of bachelor who rarely feels like baking or making anything too extravagant, you can
add oil to many restaurant dishes and pre-made grocery store meals! :yay:

    -----

In any case good luck, and I hope this helps... if not immediately, then for any edible plans you may have in the future!
