Do you have a pic of the roots? Maybe I missed it, but what was the ec you went to? If anything, you would have seen nute burn (starting at the tips)
make sure you are leaving your water out for 24-48 hours before using? sounds like degassing of chlorine is dropping ph.

(These were drain to waste) The last pic was a stress test on a breeding project in a tent under a 600, in Styrofoam hempy cups (20 oz) I did a 35-40 plant SOG this way in nothing but pearlite. I left a rather large light leak, had NO air circulation at all, kept changing the photo period (I did this to make sure this strain would not herm) I pulled about an oz a cup, and didn't get a single naner. Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread. I believe seeing is believing, and if I'm going to give, or take advice, I want to make sure it's coming from an experienced grower. SOG, with eite genetics, will give one hell of a yield. Tested at 25.16 even with the hell i put thoes through.
Yes it can, but ime, I've seen that happen in "dirt" grows...peat, and other soiless mediums. I've never seen thst in a passive hydro sys, unless there was a pathogen
Could have very well been on the onset of it due to compromised root system. I don't fully understand all that's going on, but I have seen that happen. pH keeps falling and multi symptom deficiencies start showing up.
I've seen that happen with root aphids too. Those lil fuckers will destroy a grow, if not recognized REAL quick. Common mistake people will make....They'll start to over feed, thinking there's a deficiency. Root aphids are easy to get rid of, and prevent, but lots of times people will misdiagnos them until the damage is done

Yeah, that's why I only work with genetics I've crossed. It took years, but WELL worth it. Back in the day, before moving to Col, and didn't always get to start with elite genetics i had to order from Attitude. TRASH, once you see what real genetics can do. A little trick. Use the Lucas formula. It's fool proof, I've never had a ph prob, deficiency prob etc etc. Here's an example of some supreme genetics. Just a fan leaf, but it looks prehistoric. Would make 4-5 foot colas when trained correctly
Thanks crankz. I wish everyone could get thier hands on real elite genetics. Not just yield, but flavor, ease of trim, very high thc levels (I'll post one of my test results ) Insteaf, i watch people spend hundreds, or thousands of dollars on inferior genetics. Feminized self seeds these companies sell will not give any of thier top, or even good s1's. I keep my s1's as they are exact clones of the parents. From there I begin the crossing process. This includes stable, disease free, and unique terpine profiles, that yield tremendously. Once I find a potential keeper, I'll test them for a very long time under all kinds of adverse conditions. I'll look at some of these seed banks, and they'll offer 30+ different strains. I don't see how they can offer that many strains that are worth a shit. I did not get to cure this batch either

I'm originally from NY, and when I got to Col, I still had it ingrained in my head that "this stuff is illegal" it's culture shock for sure. When i go back home, now it's the total oppposite. I just don't care. If they wanna arrest me for smoking a joint, let em. If i even wanted to grow my own meds, and only used 2k watt, let them throw me under the jail. It's a joke. I would never again smoke anything I didn't grow. You gotta see the shit people will put in the bud for pesticides during flower, and all. Quick example. Merritt 75 will kill a root aphid probl, and you can still get your 3 lbs a light, and it's totally legal in the states. The grape farmers use that shit until the day of harvest. Meanwhile in GB, the product is 100% illegal. It takes 60 days for it to leave the plant, and is very toxic. It has it's place however (say a week before the flip) and as a preventive I don't think there's anything wrong with it, as long as it's flushed out by harvest. Thing is people will discover pests week 3 in flower of an 8 week strain, then BEGIN using it to save thier crop. To me, that's just as bad as the tabbaco industry, ot food industries. Most people don't care about anything besides making $. Even with weed. So i will grow my own meds. Period! That's just one of many examples. When I lived in a non legal state, I wouldn't do warehouse grows, but a 4x4 tent, under a 600, will not cause any suspicion as long as ya don't tell anyone ya know, know how to totally get rid of any smell, and know where to set up. Now that was a rant, but i tend to do that while medicated lol. Btw, I had major back, and shoulder surgery, and i refuse to usethe "doctors" addictive/dangerous narcotics. Haha.. Yeah my body has been through a little hell. I don't do pills either, and got sick of buying the crap weed that's around here. So, here I am doing my little thing. It's definitely nice smoking my own. Even if it's not the greatest. At least I know what's in it, and that it's not been treated with any nasty pesticides. Been smoking this auto flower Alien vs Triangle from Mephisto that I grew. Good shit!
That looks nice. I've never smoked, or grew an auto. How's the potency? Looks nice. For me, there's nothing more rewarding than people that seek out my bud. Seriously out in Colorado, VERY VERY few people bother to cure there bud. It's dried, bagged, weighed, and sold. I'm almost srnsitive to what people think of mine. It must be dried, and cured 6 weeks, as I mentioned, no pesticides, and flushed properly. I always take it to peak harvest, and if it tastes like another strain, I'll stop growing it. Ever grow a good cut of cheese? It smrlls like fruit the entire time it grows (my cut) after a 6 month cure, I swear it turns to parmisan. Too many commercial growers just don't care about quality. They like my strains because of quantity, but I'd rather not be associated with the strain unless it's done right. As i said, I've never grown an auto. The buds look impressive (compared to what I'd always imagined) Here's a few pics of some of my strains (well everything you've seen so far, but I love variety) First pic isn't mine, butbit is the original cut of Shoreline from Texas. This cut has been around 20 years or so now. People don't think it exists any longer. Devils Harvest seed co came out w/some garbage, called it Shoreline, and made a fortune. Those massive Colas in the trellis are 5 foot colas. It's a 10 week Choc Thia cross. And a few others 3rd is a super elite cross of Blue dream x Sweet Tooth #4 And a few others I've never named
Ah, why not. A couple more. I'm just real proud of the work I've done. That last pic was a strain I threw in someone elses garden. He grew in peat, and didn't properly train the plants. It was only at day 30. That is the strain I'm most proud of. It finishes in 42 days, the buds, and fan leaved are caked with trics. It has a blueberry flavor, and grown with my method, is my best producer. I kinda hoard a few of my strains, and won't do full rooms of it (of yet anyways ) I got very lucky with that one too. For a "haze" leaning strain, 42 days to flower is almost unheard of. As for nutes, I've used all the "big names", but always go back to the Lucas formula. It's cheap as hell, no need for meters, or snake oils "big bud" etc...and the 2 mediums I mostly use are straight pearlite in Hempy buckets, or rockwool blocks, layed in rockewool crutons. During the summer, i stick with pearlite, as the medium gets pleanty of 02, and have never had a prob with pathogens in the medium. On top of that I only have to feed every 3-4 days. I have other strains as well, but I just wanted to show how important great genetics are. The keys to pulling 3+ per light (for me) Genetics, proper training, SOG straight from clone to flower, and keeping clones healthy, and growing the entire process, keeping everything clean, and an even canopy. I do not use c02! Well hope ya enjoyed a little bud porn lol. Every elite cut I've ever had, I always make true s1's with (just incase the strain dissapears for some reason) I put all my strains in between 6-9 inches, and they all finish between 4-7 ft tall. I don't know whybpeople try and avoid the stretch, unless hight is a restriction, in wich case I will super crop the hell out of them. The last pic ill post is the size of the plant the day of the flip. These all finished right at 7 ft. This is not my SOG method. I put up my double trellis at week 2, than the 2nd level at week 4 or 5. I keep ALL fan leaves on, and each plant will have 4 heads. I cut off all sucker branches, as the energy does go to the tops, and trimming takes about 1/10th the time. I do have pics of the stretch if you would like to see. It's pretty amazing, as I will get between 3 to as much as 6 inches of vertical growth a day for the first 3-6 weeks (strain depending) after the stretch, they just fill in to massive colas. An empty room like that looks a whole lot different than that same room 6 weeks later as the buds just get tremendous. Well hope you enjoyed. Every 7 months or so, I'll take time off, and come on some of these bordes. I especially like this one, as there seem to be lots of new growers, and I like to show what these plants can do. (Given the knowledge, and right genetics ANYONE can learn to do this in less than a year) breedings a bit different, but most people aren't into that pt of it.

That's impressive. I never grew any cause I heard they're a crap shoot, but the main reason is I need everything to finish at the same time. Do you know what they test at?
Yeah, impressed me too. My first time growing an auto. I was under the impression that they don't perform as well as photos. This stuff is good, as you can see by Dutty's test results. I didn't test mine. I'm small time... lol I experienced two phenos. Short and tall. Both with a lemon scent, but the tall also has like a funky body odor undertone. Flavor is hard for me to describe. Still kinda citrus on both, but the tall has that funkiness to it that I can't really place. Grew mine in Hydroton, in a simple flood and drain tote setup, under a 400 MH and two 250 HPS. Most of the time just the 400 and one 250 because of heat. 70 days from seed under constant 19/5 light cycle and yeah, watched trichs as they swelled.
