MAJOR Audio Problems On PS3! *HELP*

  1. Just recently got Batman Arkham Asylum and I am having audio problems. At first I couldn't hear the dialogue so I adjusted the in game audio properties (lowered SFX and Music). That helped a little bit. But now I can only hear background audio (like the voice over the speaker saying breach in B2 or whatever). I put the subtitles on so I know when they are supposed to be speaking. I can only hear the Joker's dialogue sometime and other times it's pure silence. When someone say's "It's a trap" Batman say's "Of course it's a trap" But I can't actually hear him say that. His lips are moving but there is 0 sound. I can hear bits and pieces of characters speaking but there is no pattern. Batman doesn't speak at all, well his lips move but there is no sound, I haven't heard him speak once. I've heard the Joker talk but only hear and there.

I have tried deleting the game data and reinstalling it from the disk, 3 times!! I changed the resolution from 1080p to 720p (advice from Sony tech support) and still nothing. I usually play on my 1080p monitor with an HDMI input. I then hooked it up to my 720p HDTV and still had the exact problem. I have fiddled with the audio settings and nothing seems to work, only buzzing speakers.

Also this has happened on Uncharted 1 and 2 AND Skyrim. Like WTH?? I traded my XB360 for a 160GB PS3 and now I can't even play any of the games. Well I can play them but with major dialogues being cut out... ANY HELP AT ALL? Do I just need to sell it?

Also I tried to update my PS3 via the internet and it is up to date, no problems there. People say update the game data but what the heck does that mean? I can only reinstall it from the disk or delete it (In the game data utility options).
