Ok here we go. Currently running a few diff strains in diff medium and varying stages of growth but all will be mainlined. I will do my best to keep this thread updated as I have a large family and a "dark to dark" work schedule lol but I love growing medicine and cant myself ever completely shutting down. So with that out the way let's get on with it. First up is a raspberry cough, topped and mainlined for 8 mains. I'm going to let her grow to between 12 and 14 inches from the soil (50/50 perlite/promix) then flower it. Also have a few in flower that will be updated later when the lights are on. So stay tuned for that. Sent from my SM-G950U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Yeah, I let the mains to grow out to the edges of the pot before allowing them to turn up. I've found it dont get as crowded and shit gets stupid dense Sent from my SM-G950U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I have more vegging plants that I will add to this with all specs when I get home Sent from my SM-G950U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
My favorite growing method, I hearya on the dense. I quit tying my autos to keep them in a 2x2 but it gets really dark in there. 4 tops untied in a 1gallon is really fun. If I am spread out I can allow two secondaries to grow off each 8 tops to make a total of 24, but they look really cool, I call them a trident. A main top and then down an inch or so another one and then another one an inch down from that. Any more than 3 total gets dark.
Yeah man exactly. I've been trying my best to trim them to get the trident your talking about. Typically try to get 2 lowers, one on either side of each cola, but one on the outside and one on the inside. I have found training like that it makes 3 rings of colas.... well almost. Looks awsome though. Sent from my SM-G950U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Wouldnt let me attach pics to previous post for some reason. Look Sent from my SM-G950U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
This is girl here is a gorilla glue. She really has had a rough life. She was started by seed by a grow buddy of mine, she hadn't been above ground more than a few days when hurricane Michael (well tropical storm when it hit us) hit last year. I was fortunate enough to have a large enough generator to run some or most of my grow equipment, as well as keep my food good and family comfortable and my buddies family. And my buddies plant lol. we were out of power for seven days. Burned through a lot of money feeding the genny. She has been in promix/perlite 50/50 her whole life. I could never get the nutes properly dialed in, was a very finicky plant. I was attempting to mainline it but it responded pretty bad to topping so I just stopped and let it grow. the 2 lowers on the main trunk were to be clones. It didnt seem to matter what kind of nutes I used or how strong it just didnt like it. Has always had some sort if deficiency for me to battle lol Was flipped to 12/12 on Feb 1st. The only thing it has been fed is 1/2 of @s2c early flower masterblend recipe as I was scared of it burning her again. Now it has some pistil turning orange almost look burned, but leaves show some sort of deficiency. Idk lol Sent from my SM-G950U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
These are some clones I'm going to mainline in all perlite hempy's. Final pot will be 5 gal fabric with res. 3 raz cough 1 jillybean Sent from my SM-G950U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
This here is another jellybean almost ready for her first haircut. She is also in all perlite. Masterblend nutes Sent from my SM-G950U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Here we have a jack the ripper clone in perlite and a vortex started from seed that is almost ready for her first topping Sent from my SM-G950U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
This is an auto daquri lime by Dutch passion. My buddy was growing it in DWC and wanted to scrap it. He was going to mainline it and then decided to scrap it. It was just a fun experiment for me. I took all the cuttings and rooted them in my homade araponic cloner, and transplanted to perlite hempy style cups for some, and promix/perlite for others. As for the main part of the plant I'm not sure what happens to the other 2 mains but the rest was transplanted into 3 gal perlite hempy bucket. For the most part the plant is doing ok, smells amazing and for real has a smell of lime. Very exotic smell and all around structure. Very resin coated and covered with trichs. I think this will be some very high quality smoke. Sent from my SM-G950U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Just random shots of a watering manifold I been working on with the help of @s2c. Thanks man. You see I have his masterblend recipe tacked to the wall in fron of the manifold. All written down for diff amounts of water depending on what I need to mix up. From 1 to 50 gallons. It's not finished yet. I still have a lot to do. I lost a lot of stuff in the storm. Mostly hid lights. They blew up. Literally, I was standing beside a metal halide when it done it lol. So I have been remodeling and switching to QBs. Burning up 3 hid ballasts and bulbs kinda hit me hard. My flower room is like 4ft by 12 ft. That's a lot of light needed to cover it lol Sent from my SM-G950U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
It was started from seed in Sept last year and lights flipped to 12/12 on feb 1st . So almost 5 months. It's going to be a damn monster come harvest. Assuming I can keep it healthy as it has been very finicky Sent from my SM-G950U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Man I love the mainline technique so cool what do you think the least amount of time you can do a decent mainline plant? I started my plant Nov. Last year and it looks nothing like that, this was my first go at it though learned a lot about how the plant actually grows. I topped once and then decided to try just topping one of the new tops..... that didnt work out so great. Lol cant wait to see some more pics of the grow.
