Mainlined into chaos then scrogged :/ help?

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by karumbakuwa, Jul 31, 2019.

  1. So I'm a day or 2 away from flowering my 2 plants and, despite trimming it right back, I fear that what I've done is going to create a canopy that will be too difficult to maintain.

I mainlined it to 8 stems and let it grow too big so I trimmed it all back and supercropped it to even the canopy in scrog.

What's your advice for handling this once it goes into flower, as far as I know, I can't trim once the light schedule is on 12/12 so how would I tame the beast?[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

  2. Looks great man. They'll fit. Just keep the air moving in there... Good luck!

  5. I have a 2'x4' too :) Only one of my plants looks like yours though, the 8 stem beast had to be butchered so it'd fit, now I'm waiting and wondering when would be safe to put into flowering, wait until it rises a bit or switch to flower so it gets that growth spurt everyone talks about. I've HST'd extensively :/

  6. Positive feedback received in this thread but my concern was more that there are SO much growth poking through now that when flowering it'll just become a tight mess. Is this a genuine concern or should I stfu and watch my babies grow and take care of themselves in flowering?

  7. It doesn't appear to be crowded and you still have room. I think you'll be fine.

  8. At day 21. Take anything Thats under the scrog netting away. All of it. Will put all that production into the tops .

  9. So it's still okay to be trimming during flowering? I heard that it's day 1 and day 20. I guess mine is trimmed enough for day 1 at the moment though :)
