I like dwc, but it can be very finicky when the roots are concerned. The biggest thing to watch is ph, water temp, and to make VERY SURE you don't have light leaks into red. I didn't realize I had one, and it almost cost me big. Root rot is a big problem. If I reengineered mine, I would run it as rdwc.

She has really packed on the weight and colors this last week. Completely different pheno than the last seed, but luckily her clone is under the qbs as we speak! I'll have some post chop pics later. I really want to see weight
Weighed in 1lb 6oz chopped on stem with fans trimmed. Still wet, so I know there will be lots of loss, not to mention the stems, but I'm still optimistic of the 8 zone goal. I wish I would have given her an extra week or two on veg, but lesson learned. And knowing is half the battle! Go joe! Lol. I'm so stoned...
Next time i take my trich shots ill take a small video of the whole process.. hopefully i can help some of the newer guys out with this.. but you can get some really good trich shots with a lil preparation.. I took these shots from a piece rt from my plant placed it on the table to make sure its 100% sturdy (cant have any movement at all when zoomed in so much!!).. I took these off a piece so small.. its literally the size of a ball point pen tip.. check it out!! More than enough, hundreds of trichs on a piece this small!! Here are the trich shots.. Everything has to be 100% still.. phone, bud & microscope.. cant even breathing while pic is being taken.. (like a sniper hold ur breath).. I also tap on the screen b-4 taking the pic to help focus the light and focus photo clearly with no big glares.. Pics taken at 60x’s zoom!!
Those look a lot better than mine did lol. I'll take your advice and post some new shots later today. I chopped at about 30% amber, because last batch went too long for my liking. It was great for sleep or vegging, but not worth a damn for trying to get things done lol
