OK I've read as much as I can find on this technique.. So lets speculate and throw out if its possible or efficient or practical... Say you topped it and got 2.. Then 4.. Then 8.. Then 16 colas .. Then 32 ...which probably is upper limit of what a grower would have patience for,.. Lets say you had an inner mad scientist in you that wanted to keep a plant in veg near indefinitely just to see how many you could get.. Is there any pictures of one thats 64 or dare I say 128 or 256?? Crazy I guess but has it ever been done just to at least know what the real upper limit is .. bud spacing during flower stage and air flow becomes very important I would think with a single plant turned into a forest of colas lol.. Any ideas on this? Or how it could realistically be done ?
are you asking about mainlining or super cropping.? with mainlining there would not be a "jungle" of tops, they would be lined up and spaced out, kinda like manifolding, more of a hobby then a production method.! as far as a 32 or 64 top plant, I have seen pics of scrogs with that many tops. also have seen an outdoor "octopus'' looking plant that had at least 32 tops, as far as 128+ tops...... possible, but not practical.!!
That sounds like a record that needs to be invented.. World record most colas on a single cannabis plant that successfully flowers and produces ..yeah thats hobby way more than a profit / production focus but still it makes a funny as hell picture if you can show that Its possible to mainline a plant into triple digit numbers of completely even sticks of bud..veg times being extended like say 50 to 100% or more possibly just ta see what could be done... Asking not if there is a practical limit of 8 ta 16, but rather whats the limit you can pull off with one indoor plant before it gets too crowded basically
