Maine 75 Days Veg, No Signs Of Flowering

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by tenshuu, Aug 21, 2014.

  1. I've been reading that first frost hits my area in the first two weeks of October, and I have not found any signs of male or female flowers yet. .... Is it too late to even force flower outdoors here?

If I do force flower, does anyone have suggestions on how I should do so? It's about 3ft tall, and probably just as wide

The strain is unknown, I do have a successful clone inside, so I'm not worried about losing the strain.

but my indoor setup will likely not be able to hold this plant by the time my indoor plants are harvested.

I'll update with a picture tomorrow.

give it time, everything should begin flowering by the 21st or shortly after.... as long as it's healthy..

  3. First two pictures are of "Wally" the bagseed. Hasn't shown sex yet. The other three photos are of "hood" - pretty simple names.
Hood has a few pistils showing as two photos indicate...

Both plants sprouted together and are just under 80 days of veg.

  5. thats strange. are they close to the road or anywhere they could pick up stray light at night?

  6. They get a set of headlights for about 30 seconds 5 days a week when I'm coming home from work - and it's still shaded pretty well behind some brush blocking it directly.

The plants have both shown pistils now. Just late bloomers I guess. Hoping my indoor grow finishes in time for me to bring them inside if the weather acts rough.

  10. Your babies might be stunted from being rootbound. Next season id use about three times the soil. They look nice and healthy.

You can get em to stay the size you want too by letting them become rootbound around 2ft tall, and tranaplanting into a much larger container of soil. This will allow the best nutrient spread and keep the plant short and fat stalked.

Plus they look pretty cool 😥

Its likely - these were emergency outdoor plants. Bag seeds that didn't germinate in a week and a half got tossed in my leftover soil bucket, and popped up a few days later. Let them grow in the cabinet for ~3 weeks before moving them outside so I had enough space for my small indoor plants

Nice! I might try that out next spring!

  13. Hell yeah man thats awesome! Dont u love tossing seeds and finding a plant a couple weeks later. Great feeling.

  14. All 5 were non -feminized seeds, and all turned out ladies too

  15. Sweet dude thats an awesome feeling to lucking out. Have u ever had any males before?

  16. Nope, first five plants I've ever grown. Pretty pumped, I hurt my indoor girls, but first time is made for mistakes.
