You don't require defending Or Gro (as you have done a fine job on your own), but uninformed people making nasty unproductive comments is the exact opposite of what these forums were created for and need.
Can i get a Fuckin A? See those white caps on res lid? They are 1.25” diam....and less than 4 wks in...it’s all about big pipes, even plumbing, flat top, maximum light on as many bud sites as possible...and knowing what your doing in your own growspace...
White Widows: Starting week 5, filling in well, sugar leaves developing on colas. Last week This week Flat tops ridin the light razor, 20” from 1200 watts of pure photon energy. Swirlin on!
Flat as a pancake: This strain, in my growspace, is not gonna produce donkey dicks. That’s why i brought those 100+ 1-1.5” pistil balls on the right one (count em) to the top, at least same amount within 5” of top. Left one, same strain, but different pheno has 60+ on top, same or more just below top. Leafly says the strain produces 1-3oz/sqft. Let’s see what additional 4-5 weeks of 1200w photon bombardment can do, shall we? I’d lol, but this is serious shit! Lol!
Maybe next grow you could choose a strain that would grow donkey dicks? I'd love to see some humongous cola pictures for sure...........
Due to my height limitations and light intensity, my house would catch fire. But posts (here) 45,62,92 can show the potential in dense, height-limited, high-intensity light, 3’x2’ footprint grows. Unlike some, i have no prob with 200+ 1g (most) to 10 gram (some) buds, in a single 1.5-2 sqft plant. Btw, get ready to see what a swirled Cinderella99 (Leafly: 3-6oz/sqft) scrogline can do. And, check back as we near the holidays, i have these 12-week strains prepping for fall flowering...
Also btw, anyone, with enuff light, can grow 2L-bttl size indica donkey dicks in ht-limited environ - i just don’t like indica that much.
So with my 80" tent and two 600W QB's, do you think I have the light to grow some donkey dick size colas with the right strain? Being that (like you) my smoking needs are fairly small I can have a couple of plants where its not about the taste or flavor, but about the challenge of seeing if I can do something I have not done before.
Based on the hype i’ve read on QBs, you should be able to do so. Others with actual QB experience may want to chime in. As for strains: google something like “high potency high yield cannabis strains”, then screen the list by checking out height/stretch/and yield on leafly, allbud, seedfinder.eu, etc.), then check various sites for opinions (grasscity, rollitup, growweedeasy, etc). Should be plenty of pics/opinions by guys bragging about the size of their donkey dicks.
For sure, never any shortage of that! We don't talk much here about what we do with the pot after we grow it, but 85% of mine goes to making concentrates (Honey Oil, Cannabis Oil, Hash) so I am not that fussy about the (smoking) taste & flavor of the strains I grow. I have a tumbler that makes really good natural hash, strains with more resin work best but any good pot will do. I also have a top-flight vacuum pump set-up for making very pure kick ass BHO, obviously the more potent the strain the better the concentrate but taste wise they are all fairly similar in my opinion.
C99s: how many budsites you think are in these bushes? Got a beauty shop appointment later today. Operator error when i switched to flowering lighting: red/orange wavelengths boosted, but somehow lightson only reduced to 14hrs. Caught this fuckup last week, so instead of wk4, i’m calling it end of wk1 (pistil balls forming). Now have the fun of managing these gigantic high-yield plants. Stay tuned.
Defol just completed, taking a coffee break before tying mains outward/pulling laterals inward to begin training for max light penetration. Hopefully next week, after getting some light in there and add’l pistil development,will be able to do a more reliable budsite count. Pics after they reorient to their sun.
