it looks like a slide that dry-carbs. like the stem is attached to the bowl and you lift the whole thing out and that dry-carbs it. but yes you can put ice in it
It used to have a grommet on the downstem but I took it off, cause there's no carb so I can't clear it without pulling out the bowl. Takes too damn long and is too hard to pull it out with the grommet.
