  2. Supersoil made up of peat moss, perlite, neem meal, kelp meal, oyster shell flour, crab meal, alfalfa meal, humus, rock dust, the works. I was previously watering with city tap water (dechlorinated), but will be switching to RO water. The ph of the soil stays around 7 - 7.5, but I have read that this shouldn't be much of a problem in an organic soil.

There appears to be some algae growing on the soil surface, maybe I overwatered?

  3. Is there any compost or ewc in the "super soil"?

  4. No need to switch to ro water either. As long as ph isn't crazy out of range

  5. I added about 10 pounds of ewc to the soil mix for the previous grow, should still be some in there considering it was a small grow and I only used a small portion of the soil

  6. I got the ro system mainly for drinking/cooking water, but figured I'd use it for the plants too. Would you advise against using ro on the plants?
