So for the past couple months of summer I've been using my bong with a stuck downstem, And I mean stuck as hell, nothing could get it out and I actually took a small shard off the downstem trying, any way I got the bong out today and in it was my bowl and everything all ready to go but as I grab the bowl, a tiny piece is cut off the very end of the bowl that goodies into the ds. AND THE DOWNSTEM COMES OUT. It was a miracle, it's going to be so much easier to clean, but what I'm wondering is how it got so stuck nothing worked then magically got fixed with a broken bowl?!
it gets water-logged. Happens with my illadelph and pretty much anything glass on glass. future reference, use a lighter or something to tap the tip of the diffuser when its stuck in there to maneuver it around with vibration. works almost every time
