So I was thinking of getting a mod chip for my ps2. I wanted to get a chip but I cant solder to save my life. And I'm not about to let someone screw around with my $500 consol. (Yes it was $500 when I bought it when it first came out) So I was thinking of just getting one of those Magic swap disc kits. I was wondering if anyone has used these or knows someone that uses them. It seems like a pretty good safe way to mod your PS2. I have a PS2 NTSC Version 5/6 if that makes any difference. So if anyone could give some input on these swap kits I would be ecstatic.
you payed $500 for a ps2,AHHAHAHAHAHAHA most of the ones at lauch broke down but yeah soldering 30wires is a bitch,get an xbox you dont even have to open it to mod it anymore wtf is magic swap?
i paid 500 for my ps2 when it came out like 5 years ago... i dunno bout those magic swap discs. they seem like bullshit to me. try and find some reviews before you buy.
lol, thanks for the advice 3 months later I didn't bother with it, seemed like to much work every time you wanted to play a game.
