Magic-Flight Questions

  1. Hey everyone. I currently live at home with my parents, rough economy and all that. But I fortunately still have the money to engage in my favorite hobby...
Anyway, I have a few questions to anyone who has owned, or ever used, a Magic-Flight vaporizer.
First and foremost, how hard does it hit? How about relative to a standard glass bong?
Second, how noticable is the smell? I really would like to be able to do it a few doors down from my parents' bedroom, with doors closed, etc.
Third, would standard AA batteries work with it? Is the only way to get more batteries to buy them from the Magic Flight people?
Fourth, since I am currently with my parents, I can't really have it delivered right to my door... I'm thinking about getting a PO Box... Any advice on this? As in, how discreet is the shipping/packaging? Would the post office people know what it was somehow?
Would you recommend this over other portable vapes? My priorities are: stealthyness, hard hittingness (lol), portability, and cost.
Finally, since it's made of wood.... Wouldn't it like, mold? If it did, would they send me another?
    Thanks.

  2. you could have UPS/Fed Ex hold your package. Thats what i would do.

  3. I own one of the launch boxes and I really really like it! I use it in my dorm room all the time with no problem. To answer your questions, it does not hit nearly as hard as a bong, but with a portable vape you're not going to be able to get that hard of a hit, but trust me you don't need it. The actual vapor only smells when combustion occurs in the trench but you can keep that from happening. Honestly your bud will smell worse than the mflb if you take care of it. And the wood is treated with the same restaurant grade shit they have on chopping blocks, so the actual unit won't mold or anything. Lastly it has a lifetime warranty! trust me dude, get it!

  4. How, just by calling their office after it ships, or...? Then I would go pick it up at the USPS office right?
Thanks UPupandAway... I am really excited about this, I've heard so much positive feedback about it. Can't wait to get mine.

  5. You can call FedEx and UPS after it ships and have them hold it... if its USPS, the only way is to put in a vacation hold at the post office and that will mess ur mail up

  6. Use ups and make sure your home on the day it will arrive.

  7. Alright. Here goes.
The mflb can actually hit very hard if you learn to control the breathing.
The mflb will produce no smell if you hold the hit in long enough to absorb all of the vapor. If you do let some vapor out it will smell very slightly, nothing really to worry about(if you are worried a simple open window will work wonders). You will be able to vape in your room no problem!
You cannot use any AA battery. It must be an NiMH rechargeable one. You can pick some up at your local Rite Aid, CVS, Duane Reade, etc.
The packaging is perfectly discrete, you will be fine.
Nothing beats the mflb. It won't mold, but if it miraculously happens to mold somehow  you would be able to get a new one most likely. The mlfb has a LIFETIME warranty, that covers basically anything that could happen to it.

    Enjoy.

  8. I have a few questions about this too. Talk to me about the batteries. How long does a fully charged battery vape for? What are their charging times?

  9. it totally depends on how you use it. I always used mine by myself... and to be honest... I could charge my batteries one day and not have to recharge them for a long time.... but granted, I didn't use my MFLB all too often while I had it... but the batteries still held a charge even sitting in their plastic case for weeks...

I've never had a battery die on me either while using the MFLB... so when I hear about people having battery issues it just makes me think that they're passing it around in a group - which its not really built for...

  10. If it's for personal use, then the standard batteries are fine. By the time one of them die on me, the other's always charged and ready.

I don't know for sure how long they last, it's hard for me to keep track since I'm just getting more ripped as I go, but I'd say for me... around 4 or 5 trenches.. maybe. Charge times usually around 3-4 hours from what I've noticed.

  11. Just always have at least one battery in the charger. That way you will never have to worry about not having one :)

  12. does anyone have trouble making it light up while pushing in the battery? Sometimes I have to reposition it and try again, or I have to press so hard I have little circles all over my palm... :)

  13. Thats deff not normal, somthing isent working right man.... lifetime warranty tho =]
