Magic Flight Launch Box - Fire Hazard?

    My Magic Flight Launch Box Charger and Battery caught on fire spontaneously, unplugged.

    Send it back? :eek:

    I would definitely send it back, thats some weird shit. Shoot them an email.

    Yeah, I did. Scared the shit out of me. I thought my computer wires we're catching on fire but then I looked left on my desk and there goes my battery and charger throwing smoke in the air. Now I'm one battery short =/

    Your battery shorted out. it probably made contact with something conductive. With normal batteries this is not really a problem but the MFLB batteries do not have the protective sleeve so this is a risk. it is even stated in the manual to keep the rubber tips on the batteries.
