I am just so impressed with my MFLB and I was wondering if anyone else has any opinions on it that they want to share with the city? I for one love the portability, simplicity, and last but not least... the kick. This thing gets me so unbelievably stoned. I find myself using the little thing more than my Volcano... anyway... you guys?
it's amazing. this is a fully functional vaporizer. Its size is tiny, and mechanics simple... but you get thick milky hits of vapor and you can get stoned as shit off of .1 gram It's my favorite out of all of my vapes, I have iolite, volcano, and mflb (the volcano is better overall, but considering the price of the LB and the portability, that makes it better imo) but yeah, i'm really high sorry for the rambles
its all good, im leaning towards buying this for a year until i get my own place and can get a bong or some shit--1 question though if you dont mind; how is the battery life?
Its helpful to get the 15 min charger and extra batteries. A single battery is only good for about 2 trenches or so. I take two fully charged batteries with me when I go out. To get the glue off the batteries after you strip the plastic off, try acetone (nail polish remover) but make sure its all off the battery before you use it.
the battery life is great. You can probably get blazed 2-4 times off of 2 batteries... just take extras and charge them while you sleep. Once you get in the habit of that it'll be like you don't even use batteries anymore. It will just be mechanical to you
I've been using it for a year now. It's awesome! I loved it so much, I got a back up unit. Every 2-3 days, take some iso alcohol on a Qtip and GENTLY (with no pressure) wipe down the screen and "rods", then (with lid still open) insert battery for 4 sec to evap residue. This will extend the life of it. Also, don't randomly shake the box after a hit, instead "roll" the herbs by tapping quickly underneath the box on the left side, about where the word "choose" is. This will keep herbs from getting up on the shoulders, and extend the life because if you constantly are hitting with herb touching the rods, you will get build up on them and it will make the box run really cool, and not hit good.
I'll stick with my Iolite for now until they figure out how to use Li-Ion batts with the MFLB and a temp regulator. I have ENOUGH stuff that eats batteries around here to add yet another ! But, it DOES look like a handy lil vapor producer.
So the power is sapped after 2-4 uses? Sounds like terrible battery life to me... But the MFLB still sounds interesting. I'm looking to get a vape pretty soon, but like most people, I don't want to spend an arm and a leg. Believe me I get the whole "spend the money and it'll be worth it" argument , but that money cannot be spent if it does not exist, and saving is out of the question at this time. The MFLB sounds like a solid choice, but are there any ones more suited for parties of 4 people or so? Or will the MFLB still do the job for a handful of people?
it doesnt "eat" batteries, it uses rechargeables... not just your standard AA lol that would suck ass
He said you can use a single battery to get high 2-4 times not take 2-4 hits. It takes me about 5-6 hits to start feeling high and one trench is usually enough to keep me blazed for a while. A single battery lasts me about 2 trenches and I have 3 backup batteries. The first day I got my MFLB, I called up two of my friends to help me try it out. Two batteries kept us stoned for a long time and one of them ordered a MFLB the next day because he loved it. Don't forget you also get a lifetime warranty which makes $85 or $100 for this seem like nothing. It's amazing.
I got mine yesterday! I'm loving this little guy. Got a question though. Normal charger: Green light flashes if charging, solid if charged, right? Well after 10-15 minutes after throwing it on the charger (after a sesh) it's solid green. Haven't tested to see if that's all the charge I need, but it would be nice.
sounds like you arent killing the battery all the way then charging it up, which will eventually kill the battery, i would leave the same battery in, untill not ONLY the light doesnt come on, but no vapor comes out, i dunno why but when my light is almost faded out i can still get 5-6 decent hits of vapor left, i think the heating element uses a vastly smaller amount of power than that light, and i almost wonder if the light wasnt there, if the battery would last for a long ass time
Ah, that sounds right. And that's a good question. Extended battery life for the sacrafice of a little light may not be too bad.
I mean, im not 100% sure what the light is for, is it to display how much battery power is left...cause when my light is pretty much dead, i get really nice hits, or to show you the vapor in the box so you know when its time...cause i judge when its time by when the window has fogged over lol so its pretty useless
Yeah I go by the vapor too. The light just lets you know if it's engaged and is kind of pointless now that I think about it. And I took a couple hits of the used green (brown) to find out what it tasted like and its... interesting.
I feel the light shows that it's vaping, or on for that matter. But man, I got this thing in the mail yesterday and have been getting pretty high.
