made marijuana oil three months ago, is it still good?

    so i put probably a 1/4 oz of regs in 1/4 cup of oil. I put the oil in a mason jar and filled with water to almost the top. Then i sealed and boiled for 5 minutes. It's still sealed air tight but that was like 2 months ago. i kept it in a dark closet.

    do you think it's still good? should i just crack it open strain the weed and seperate from water and happy brownie cooking?
