Anyone a Lupe fan? I used to not like him cause I assumed he was a garbage mainstream rapper, boy was I wrong. In my opinion, he's one of the greatest rappers ever. His metaphors, flow, and tons of songs with double meanings absolutely blow my mind. He isn't full of himself and he's got a backstory kinda thing going with some songs from his first two albums. It starts off with a young boy who grew up without a father, Michael Young History (He Say/She Say). The lack of a father figure turned him into a hustler, which eventually gets him killed (The Die). He comes back to life, going back to the same "cool" lifestyle (The Cool). There's a little more to it that I don't feel like typing out, but it's mindblowing. I just got the first three Fahrenheit 1/15 mixtapes and they are a bit different from his CDs, but still the amazing Lupe. idk i always hear how he is the new shit and has the best flow and storytelling but i prefer Wiz Khalifa's flow, Jay-Z's wordplay and Andre 3000's storytelling.
