Lol, I've seen a few articles mentioning the 2 years thing. If "someone" is waiting out there, tonight would be an excellent night to show up.
Anyone who happens to be outside without knowing about the eclipse is going to instinctively look up at the Moon when it's glowing red. Plus, I think the whole "falling on the winter solstice" is going to have more people interested in the event versus just being a regular eclipse also.
