Ok I am about to purchase my ballast and I was wondering which was better Lumatek or Galaxy Digital Electronic ballast, I have heard that Lumatek was better at first and Galaxy now improved over them, which one would be better to purchase?
I have to say that I've actually had a few troubles with both, but my hydro store is a little on the shady side, so I think I might just need to find a new place to go. Lumatek seemed to be a little too hot for my green, but I was a newbie then so I might have just used too bright of a bulb. I don't have a lot of experience with Galaxy, but I'm running NextGen right now to see how they work. I've been away from growing for a bit because of personal stuff, but I'm back and ready to coax my little seeds into great big fields of green. I'll keep you updated about the NextGen. I've been starting to hear rumors that I need to watch them as they interfere with RF frequency. But that doesn't seem like such a big deal, does it?
That's some good food for thought lightmeup78, I'm looking forward to hearing how that Nextgen turns out. I'm thinking about trying digital again but after my last try with them I'm not all that confident.
What happens on your last try? I'm always curious to find out what others have experienced since everyone has their own style and their own opinions. Never hurts to keep learning, you know?
