[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6aFmXKlWac"]YouTube - Luke Wilson interview *glass blower*[/ame]
damn the only stuff ive seen of LW is whats on ALT, id love to know where to get that bubbler with the mini 5 arm thats crazy. glycerin too... funny how he started lol
Wow, cool guy. I love his comment about China glass. Sensi would be throwin a fit if he heard that. After seeing this interview it honestly makes me want to buy his shit.
nice... He seems like a madly cool guy. I like it that he tests shit before sending it out. lol. As long as I clean it b4 I use it I don't care. lol
Ah what a cool guy. Luke Wilson really makes some sick stuff, love the functionality of his pieces!! Planning on getting some LW soon.. Btw daslurk, that 12" 10 arm beaker, 5 arm downstem, any chance we'd be seeing that in a bigger sized tube? I really like the piece, and from your vids, the diffusion looks AMAZING! That being said, 12" is kinda small, so yeah I think a bigger version of this would make a killer tube (not that it isin't already) Or be going for the Double perc inline, such a solid choice
Seems like a real chill dude. I've never checked out any of his pieces before but I would definitely want to try one in the future, maybe even make a purchase.
haha so true. But yea he seemed like a really down to earth kinda guy, and yeah haha after watching this a part of me wanted to get some luke wilson glass.
im real pumped on how he doesnt talk down about any one elses pieces, i also like how he said you can buy a piece from a artist not himself. seems like a real good guy makes me want to get a piece of his!
I liked his comments on china glass as well. There are some members here who adamantly crusade against it, shows how out of touch they are. Thanks for the video.
just saw his double perc is out of stock.... would you guys go for the double perc or the mini downstem 10tree?
you know what im talking about right? that guy seems chill as hell and has a good head on his shoulders. sick video, thanks for sharing man.
ithink its a problem when the user doesnt know the quality of his/her glass. and i think it is a problem when the china glass blowers do not properly make their glass (annealing temps, kiln time, etc). thats something to crusade against in my opinion.
LOL its funny u say that. I am a salesman myself (been in sales for 10 + years) and I have always had a bit of a grudge against high end glass simply because of the attitude's I see over the net. This video has sold me too. I will DEFINITELY try not to let a handful of assholes sway my decision on something that they clearly know nothing about. LW u just got yerself a customer.
