lucas fomula ???

    so i've been reading every thing ican about this and all of them say use R.O water.Is this really neccisary i got 55g res to fill with RO will cost me like 40 buck every week or two. can i just use tap Ph'ed water?

    and with a few fittings from the hardware store, you can make 125 gallons a day.

    can it be used with tap water mine check out at around 300 ppm. I've dine a week on some crazy plan a friend gave me but i think it burned em up a bit seamed strong- 20 micro 10 grow. i'd like to use the lucas with tap water instead.

    Yes, sir...........that's what they're made for, taking shitty tap water and turning it into a close to 0 ppm magic elixir that only the plant gods and goddesses could dream of!!!:D

    Just think, after 3 res changes......your gettin' free elixir!!!!

    I guess i wasn't clear,i know that filter will work. i wanted to know if i could use the lucas with tap water without filtering.

    Try GH's Hardwater Micro as part of the Lucas Formula. It is made for water that is over 200ppm.

    If your tap water is over 200 ppm (or contains Calcium above 70 ppm), use Flora Micro Hardwater. If your water contains 30 to 50 ppm Calcium, you can mix our original Flora Micro with Flora Micro Hardwater to create a perfect Micro blend for your plants.
