  1. Just gently pinch and lay over to me lightly super cropping is easier, quicker, as effective as tying down. You might have to pinch and twist but it'll lay over, and like how you have to adjust ties every day or two same with laying it over but it's just a pinch twist and lay. No sir that plants not too young to start training

About right there should be good. Just lay it over in a way that exposes under nodes

  2. There's no rush training that seedling. I'd wait until it has more vigor.

  3. Autoflower or photoperiod? If its a photo, i would just top it. You could top it now for 6 branches or wait a bit for 8 or 10 branches.

Red line would be where to top and you would end up with 2 branches at each blue arrow. Typically i remove those bottom two branches though they seem to end up being smaller than the rest. So you would want to wait until you get one more blue arrows worth of branches to top and remove the bottom two branches it if you want 6 kolas total.

  6. I agreed with both too early, and ready, lol. Sorta up to you, I usually wait until after my first top, but many start as soon as transplanted.

  7. I'll personally start on autos sooner than photos since I don't top autos. Week 3 I'll lay the top growth over a couple to few days after transplant. Imo it gives lower growth a jump start, autos having a short veg cycle shouldn't hurt to start early

  8. what was your decision to grow an auto instead of a photo I am just curious? Because to me there is no comparison A photo yields about 5 or 10 times as much and doesnt take much longer

If you know how to grow they are easier, mainly if one can start plants well. Cant hinder any auto growth for like the first 5 weeks. After they start flowering they can handle more stress. I grew a auto out for seeds used it to start super cropping on wound up breaking its main stem halfway down mid flower. Buds still laid over didn't weigh just tore through buds grabbing seeds but no difference just no main stalk. If you're new you should start with photoperiods in quality soil basic feeding chart with calmag. Photos allow you to veg until you understand your medium, plants, nutrients, and set up. Growing in quality soil allows you to not concentrate on nutrients for the first month to few only educating ones self on watering techniques, environment, and plant habits. Photos give new growers time to get a understanding of what's needed to cultivate cannabis. Autos flower around day 30 one slip could stunt growth and waste time, money, and effort. If you have quality soil tho transplanting autos once feeds up to 2 months. They can get away with being amended heavily once but I'll usually amend 2ce 3 weeks apart depending on growth cycle how long I get to growem out. Basically just watering when dry with the water hose/boogie blue filter.

I cant grow big plants outdoors so I'll grow autos perpetually outdoors, I agree use tents for photos losing weight for the same amount of supplies, work, time, and money

( starting plants well was in reference to watering practices. The only thing I know that will stunt a auto is too much or too little water. Besides the common sense close light, dampening off etc. The example was of how much stress autos can take and still complete their flowering cycle ) just to be clear lol I agree about topping autos, I don't growing outdoors with plant count I don't see it being something worth doing. Personally

  11. guys, you can top autos just fine, and I recommend the practice.

photo is good learning as you can have a hiccup, slower growth, and it'll still be ok as it has time to recover,
auto... best be on the ball.

I topped this auto last week
    upload_2022-4-3_11-58-38.png
and even had a hiccup (cuz I sprayed for thrips and burned the leaves)

With my autos, when I get a mature 5th node (typically 17-21 days from sprout) I clear out under four and begin training.
Whether topping or LST. Through trial and error, this training method works for me.

  15. 5-10x as much??? ok Pinnochio. lol

  16. A auto can give you a very good yield, I have got 20+ o/z from three gelato plants that were topped at the 5th node. Here's two rows of them curing.

  17. Id agree with 5-10x; outdoor without question, indoor with the space and training skills

  18. I disagree. I would give this plant 2 weeks and then top it. Let it grow for another 3 weeks and start tying down branches. And you only need to readjust 1-2 more times.

  19. How tall where those girls?
