I started to LST my plant and noticed that some of the fan leaves are kind of in the way. I am using

for my first attempt at this. In this guide I see

During flowering and even before due to lack of light on the main stem fan leafs which is all the way to the bottom almost against the soil those fanleafs will die off anyways, i usually cut these off the main stem right after the branch has grown out in that area, keeps things neat down below where you will need good airflow during flowering.. so go ahead and take off any fanleafs coming off the main stem that is going around the inside edge of the pot.

Should i just go ahead and start removing some of the fan leaves now? or should i wait? I am only on the fourth going on fifth leaf sets. Anyone got any suggestions? Anything would be good.

If you need more info or pics just let me know.

I added a couple of pictures. Let me know if you can't see them or anything. Shitty camera don't hate pls, LOL

And keep in mind that I am Very new to growing much less LST. If it looks like a horrible job, lol.

Also i know a couple of the leaves show signs of light/heat burn. I already fixed that issue. Any advice or anything would be appreciated.

  2. cutting fan leaves is never a good idea, since they contain all the sugars ur plant needs, however if u've already decided to do so, i'd probably do it now before flowering, cause that is more a risk to stress ur plants.

are your upper fan leaves on the higher nodes already developed?

I added a few pictures in the original post. I just took them no more then 4 min ago so didn't really put much effort into getting good shots. Ill get better ones if needed.

Not that I have decided too do this I am just trying to learn and do the best job I can for my limited knowledge of growing not to mention LST'n.
