LST question

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by wiggum, Apr 4, 2007.

  1. I just read the LST technique and had a question--One of my plants is at apprx. 12" and the other a little more. They're obviously past the third leaf-set development...is it too late to try to bend them down?
I can't believe I just discovered this. I've never even really experimented with tying and I'm already on my sixth, small grow.

    Any advice?

    Thanks

  2. It's definitely not too late , LST is a great way to maximize growth and efficiently fill up the space in your grow room , while keeping the canopy at an even level which is very light efficient. You can also Top or FIM your plant to help it bush out , if your wanting one main fat bud , LST probably isn't for you. LST may increase yield and will increase overall efficiency of your grow box. Here's a picture from my grow logg , the key is to tie the main top BELOW one of the lower nodes. See all the branching that the Tie has triggered.

This is a GREAT LINK to get an idea of what LST can do for your grow box.
