LST & LowRyder?

    Can you use the LST Method with lowryders? I believe theyhave no branches?? Correct me if i'm wrong. I would love to use LST to get many more kolas but some have said it is impossible because of the physical characteristics of the plant.

    So the question is .. Can you LST W/ A LowRyder Plant!

    The reason you can't LST Lowryder is not because it has no branches. It has branches but it flowers so quickly that it would be pointless to LST. The branches wouldn't have time to grow properly. You would actually decrease your yield if you LSTed.
    Most of the LST process takes place in the vegetative growth stage and Lowryder only goes through a week or so of vegetative growth before it starts to flower. The creator of Lowryder advises against any kind of LST, topping or FIM due to the short life of the plant. This includes it's hybrids Masterlow and Power Stout.

    EDIT: So no, you can't LST a auto-flowering plant. Well, you could but it would just screw it up.

    PS: I've never actually grown an AF strain but I've done an assload of research.

    i kind of lst'd a lowryder and had good results, i have a post in absolute beginners called "A few pics of my lowryder", i have grown a few and would say i got a lot more by tying it down and wish i'd done it properely.

    Hmm. How much did it yield? I plan on growing some Masterlow in the future so that could be heplful.

    it is currently drying, i will post it's weight as soon as it's dry but it looks about the same as one of my others and that was a bit over 2 ounces.

    from one plant? thats pretty damn good from a lowryder keep up the good work, i'll be watching for that post of the dried weight.

    Any tips you have for a soon to be lowryder grower?

    Scrog some auto's for best results, keep em trains and expose sites to good lightning and you'll get what your looking for. Growbro of mine is doing so side by side auto grow. Amazing what the scrogging auto is doing.... btw u can find em multi city grow.... look around for vtx he's got it logged. Peace GIX

    YES TRAIN, i can;t believe people on here said not to trin ur autoflowers... Training them will stress them, meaning they will grow a little longer, and main several main coalas will come. Ive done all my Auto's LST, and have had ASTOUNDING results, anywhere from around 100 [dried].. from one auto... proof in pics in one of my posts...

    SO YES!!! TRAIN THOSE BITCHESS!!!!!!

    I honestly said what u need to hear a few posts ago. Scrog/Train your autos bro. Read up on scrogging and take a shot at it!

    Exactly as he says, Scrog or LST, and u'll be a happy camper :) why harvest 20gs, when with a bit of rope, and a little extra care, u can harvest 100.... :) good luck Low Stress Training examples are everywhere btw ;)

    Dunno the measurements, but i literally use my closet lol, it can't be any wider then about 4ft x 2ft and about 5ft high. she was a little cramped, but she grew fat,
